Underwhelming for cost
For the cost, you can stay at so many places with better amenities. The restaurant doesn’t provide room service. The rooms with a view really just face the trees, not the river. And for over $600 a night I would at least expect a nice robe to sit on my terrace. Would not recommend. There wasn’t anything terrible but also just not worth the cost.

Overall very happy with my stay
This is to update a review I made earlier. We had not received a copy of our invoice when I made the review. We have now, along with an apology for it taking a while. Thank you for that. As I mentioned earlier, we did have a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, being well decorated. It is nicely designed and the outdoors patio is gorgeous and right on the path to the Oxbow Market. Furnishings are good- I wanted to bring the bed and pillows home with me. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast bar was great. The staff did a very good job. In my original review I said I would probably not stay there again. I'll revise that to say that I will stay there again, but will ask for a paper copy of the receipt before I leave. I would also recommend this to friends.

Great Napa vacation for a 40th Birthday group celebration.
The property location is great with its proximity to the heart of the City and Oxbow marketplace. We had a large group of over 20 people and this hotel was a great headquarters for everyone allowing us to do many things together and independently. We walked to the oxbow market, adjacent restaurants, and downtown from the hotel with ease. We congregated at the many fireplaces on the property, enjoyed cocktails in the bar area, and ate breakfast at the restaurant. Overall, this hotel was a very fun group stay for a 40th birthday. The hotel was very clean, the location was great, staff was very kind, and we enjoyed the experience. I would most certainly return to this property the next time I am in Napa with friends.

Nice Location, No Value for the Money
I was shocked to see that, at the hefty price we were paying per night, the hotel charged additional fees for absolutely, positively everything. Like $7 for a bottle of water in the room, $50 downstairs for a modest counter-order breakfast (was good, but not $50 kind of special), no room service, snack access or club room, etc., etc. Nice location, but not the be-all in options. I have worked around the world and stayed in exclusive and luxury hotels with a similar price range (and obviously much higher), and I have never seen one offer so little for the money. Rooms were nice, but not 'luxury' (and ours had no view available, so not even that value add). Plenty of beautiful, upscale hotels in Napa with a LOT more value for the money. (And yes, value matters even for people who stay in luxury hotels.) Will not be going back nor recommending it for anyone unless all of the above changes.

Relaxing birthday weekend
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for his 40th birthday. Even before we checked in we were impress by the staff and appreciated the upgrade to the king deluxe room that was given to us. We had an incredible room with a terrace overlooking the river. I highly recommend coming in fall to see all the colorful leaves. It was perfectly situation close to town and an easy walk to the Napa Valley Wine Train. We stayed for only one night but wish it was more. The food was also so delicious! We can’t wait to come back here
