Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. "Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.

Spring Break Policies -
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Santa Fé hotel.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense. a. Parties in rooms are not permitted
6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

Vacation for our 1st anniversary. There were highs and lows for our trip. The highs: plenty of patio chairs, friendly staff, awesome ocean views, and welcoming guests. Lows: our first room was near the party pool and I couldn't hear myself think. The room was worn and yelling guests were common. I requested a quieter room and we were accommodated. The door handle broke in our second room, locking me inside the bathroom for an hour while maintenance finally sawed through the door catch. We were offed another room but I didn't feel like moving rooms again. No other accommodations or guest service was offered. Overall, we enjoyed our anniversary. Would I return to Riu Sante Fe? Maybe with my teens. I think they'd like the parties, generous beachfront, pools, and space to roam.

Jan 22, 2025It’s been a couple trip, girls trip and family trips.
I have been to this particular hotel, five times either with my partner, a girls trip, and the last one was with my entire Family. I was there before the hotel was remodeled, and now that is remodeled. It’s great even better than before. I love going to Cabo especially because I am in Los Angeles. And the flight is really quick. Love the staff love the food, the entertainment. Everything about this hotel is great. Never had a bad experience.

Literally Heaven on Earth
The resort was so clean and had such amazing views. Also it has a super fun vibe, the parties at great all the staff are welcoming, and everyone seems to be there for a good time. I’m really happy with my value for money on this one.

GoodTime
Visiting Cabo to celebrate my birthday with just my husband and I. The parties make the resort!! Rui Pink Party was amazing! So much fun, as well as the Neon party. The entertainment across the board was really good and fun to watch. The rooms are basic, nothing spectacular. There was a constant puddle of water right outside the shower door. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We just put a towel there to ensure we didn't slip when walking into the bathroom. The beds and pillows could definitely use some upgrading. The bed was really uncomfortable (very hard) and the pillows were very flat, no fluff at all. Food- typical resort food. Some of the restaurants reminded me Chucky Cheese pizza/snack bar! La Baja California stood out for breakfast. The omelet station was a hit. The steak house was good as well for dinner, but you need to make sure you arrive 10-15 minutes before it opens; otherwise, you will be waitlisted. The pools were nice as well as the swim up bars. The beach is beautiful. However, there are ALOT of solicitors as soon as they see you coming down the walkway to the beach. It can be a little overwhelming, but we just told them "No Thank you" and in most cases, they went on their way. Its just alot of them!! I would definitely stay at this location again and because of the parties, I'm enticed to give other Rui locations a chance!!

Great Resort for the Price!!
If I could do it all over again I definitely would. The only downside of the resort was it not being an adult only resort so you will see a lot of kids there. Another downside would be the food was super mid. Besides that the check in agents were very nice friendly and helpful. The waterslides was fun. The resort has parties which was nice plus.
