    Great Stay At Riu Palace Rivera Maya

    As usual we had a great stay at the RIU. Our room was updated to a corner suite. Everything was clean the staff was wonderful and only a 20 minute walk into Playa del Carman. The only thing we would do differently is avoiding the Spring break crowd, which seems to be in March.

    Will Definitely Return To This RIU

    This was our second time staying at this resort and it never disappoints. The staff here is always smiling and willing to accommodate any requests. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day and there are always activities on the beach and by the pool to keep everyone entertained. Claudia at the Lobby Bar is always smiling and a great bartender and Lorenzo, our breakfast and lunch server was always on top of whatever we needed. This resort is also only a 10 minute walk to 5th Ave where there is plenty of shopping and additional restaurant options. This resort is a definite must stay!!!

    Great customer service

    Rooms were clean and comfortable. Customer service was exceptional. Every worker there was friendly and helpful and accommodating! Food was wonderful. Will definitely recommend this resort to everyone!

    Clean

    Friendly staff, very clean grounds and room. Decent food and drinks. Felt safe. Walking distance to town. Only reason for the 4 is the room setup—frosted glass shower and bathtub right in the bedroom with no door. Adjoining rooms or suites are just two rooms next to each other, no interior door.

    Fantastic stay!

    My wife, two kids (9 & 11), and I stayed here for spring break. We had a great time. They upgraded our room to an ocean view and it was fabulous. Room, staff, resort cleanliness, and food were all wonderful. We ate at the buffet every night (we didn’t want to contend with grumpy kids who don’t like fancy food, and the buffet was really good.) if you are used to cruises and buffets like RCCL Windjammer, this blows it away. Lamb, duck, sushi, shrimp, mussels, salmon, tuna, and so much more. We’ll be back.
