hek in time was at 3pm we didn’t get a room to 5pm we arrived in hotel at 12 they told us they gonna let us in around 2:30 When we come to ask for room they tell us room is not ready they cleaning We was extremely tired we had long flight And our room supposed to be pool view they give us room with no views at all We had views on back of hotel some really bad views Food was horrible we never experienced that and expect from Riu We constantly ordered food from outside resort bcs taste was so bad we purchased all inclusive packages but we really didn’t get any of that bcs of food taste and quality resorts like Riu should have better food choices and quality Two days was raining so bad resorts was so bad. No activities no music nothing was very depressing We were literally forced to lock ourselves in the room and do nothing Ppl on reception didn’t even answer the phone for 3 days I try to get extra blanket bcs we were so cold they never bring it When was our time to check out we asked to chek out at 1pm instead of 12 they say ok no problem But at 12 they start to knock on doors and 3 ppl show up and said we have to leave and they have to clean the room they have guests coming we told them that we spoke with front desk and they know that we are going to stay extra 30 min later they come again and say that we have to leave 12:45 we were out of the room We go on front desk to check out They tell us 400$ pesos we have to pay bcs we stay extra We explain that we were just 45 min extra and they were actually late for our check in so they shouldn’t be any charge but they don’t want to listen Guy on the front say that we have to pay cash or they will take money from card and it will be maybe more When we chek online we saw that they charge us more than what they say online Shame on you Riu

RIU party is epic, food is good, drinks well done and staff is lovely. Beach had a bit of seaweed but you could swim out and get past it. Rooms are decent and good value for price, its got everything you need.

Absolutely wonderful!
Great vacation! There was a lot to do or nothing but chill, you choose. There were planned activities if you wanted to join in or just watch. All the pools were perfect or you could walk a few steps and be on the pristine beach. Food was good, drinks were plenty. Most of all, EVERY staff member was polite, attentive and happy to be there.

Another fabulous stay
Stayed here many times before and always lives up to very high expectations. Staff always friendly, courteous and cheerful - nothing is too much trouble for them.

First stay at a Riu property
We booked this resort after lots of research on reviews and Youtube videos.Our expectations were high. It didn't take long before our expectations were exceeded in every way possible! It is a beautiful resort that is meticulously maintained. Our room was stunning and spacious. This is truly an all-inclusive resort. They do not "nickel and dime". Everything is included. Lots of dining/restaurant options and the food quality is excellent. ...But what really makes this resort special are the employees. The service was fantastic.....ALWAYS. Every employee we encountered and/or observed was extremely helpful and friendly. I was struck by the way the employees worked together and helped each other. They genuinely seemed happy to be working here. The only way I can explain it is there must be some sort of intentional culture in place that is driving this. Very impressive. Highly recommend!
