Jul 17, 2025A really nice place with top notch service
We loved the hotel. The Property is very nice very large as well. There are a number of pools, my favorite was the swim up bar of course. The service and cleanliness are superb. Top notch and I worked for one of the finest chains in the world. The overall decor is okay, it has purple tones and seems like a cruise ship, but not bad. The room was great, very nice ocean view, again very clean. The food was good, the buffet had everything you can imagine to eat and service was excellent. The Japanese Restaurant was okay, not great. The Italian was really good, we ate there a couple times it was so good. Also the Mexican Restaurant was also quite good. But if you are looking for the finest meals etc, that isn't what this hotel is. The sports bar was open 24 hours with food and drinks. If they had music in there it would be better. The entertainment was entertaining, it isn't Vegas, but they try hard and again, you are probably not booking for the entertainment, it is just built in. The specialty parties they are known for don't disappoint, they go all out and they are fun! They are appealing to a younger demo then myself, but I can see they are fun. All in all, I would go back for sure.

Beautiful older decorated hotel. We appreciate it all the beautiful wood and chandeliers. Enjoyed the food in the buffet. Thank you for all the beef selections, especially in the steakhouse.. The Mexican and Japanese need improvements on their food. Lots of complaints on these two restaurants. Enjoyed all the activities that were planned.

First time at this resort and we’ll be back. Loves the facilities, the service was amazing throughout and the beach was amazing.

Excellent Couples Vacation
This is a beautiful resort. The beach is lovely, the food is very good and the full strength drinks keep coming. I liked the option of nightly entertainment at the theater. We wanted drink service at the beach, nightly entertainment and good food- we got SO MUCH MORE!! Don’t pass up the Italian restaurant or the Mexican restaurant, and have a great time at the Buffet!

Celebrating Birthdays At Our Favorite Place
This was our third visit to the RIU Palace Las Americas. We first stayed in June 2019, November 2020 and now July 2025. My husband and I truly love this resort. Felipe the beachside server has been there from our very first trip and has made it memorable each time. The resort staff are always friendly and willing to help. I truly feel like other resorts could take notes. Thank you RIU Palace Las Americas for another wonderful stay. We hope to see you again soon!! 💚🎉
