    Just because it’s new, doesn’t mean it’s good

    Very unorganized hotel. It’s Christmas Eve and my kids are sick and the line ups for the buffet are reservation only and long line ups. Room service also isn’t operating even though the app let me place an order and made me think I was receiving my food. Called reception and got transferred to a manager only to be greeted with a full mailbox. Basically we have to go to bed hungry. And no we don’t want to eat greasy sports bar food which is the only option for us. Not to mention, we had to wait for towels bc they couldn’t anticipate the rain and the amount of guests they’d have. The list goes on.

    Perfect

    Exceptionally clean and very nice. The overall ambience was beautiful. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Entertainment was five stars, and the food was great. No complaints with the hotel.

    Good but still work to do

    Real time review. Been here for a couple of days. Hotel is new and nicely laid out. Beach is nice but not spectacular. Front desk staff said on the way in that this is the busiest they have been. It shows. The breakfast buffet ran out of fruit and lines were too long. The dinner buffet was overfull, but they didn't open another section for 30 minutes while people waited. They also aren't clearing tables fast enough to turn them over. Buffet food is decent but not top quality. The elevator situation is a big miss. There are four small elevators serving the big tower, and people have to wait 10+ minutes to get one. It is way too congested and a serious design flaw. Stay on a low floor if it is busy. Service is mostly good and friendly. Most of the problems they can fix in time, but not sure how they add elevators....

    Absolutely in love with!!!

    We visited Riu Palace Aquarelle in June after the initial opening and we loved it so much that we returned in December !!! The staff the property the food the cleanliness the beach the entertainment all 10/10.

    Great Experience

    I had a wonderful time at the Riu Aquarelle. The bartenders at the swim-up bar in Marley gave me a great experience. The restaurant choices and buffets were great. I would say make reservations for the restaurants as soon as possible as they book up pretty fast. During check-in, I had a minor issue and the person who helped me was new and she still assisted me with a smile on her face. She was super friendly. Security Officer Rohan Henry had wonderful customer service when I needed assistance. Overall, I recommend the Riu Aquarelle.
