My trip to the RIO hotel was well spent a very vibrant and courteous staff. I was also well please by a specific worker in the common dinning area "Anthony" and front desk personnel.

Riu ochos Rios
Our family of 6 travelled to jamaica from déc 10-17 from Québec.. we loved the hôtel/ food/beach and had a junior suite communicating room with océan view!!! All in all we loved our expérience but most of all enjoyed our 4 excursions (dunns river, blue hole, tubbing and dolphin cove!! They were the highlights of our trip… The beds were not of the most comfort. Would recommend but I still prefer our expériences on our prévious trips to Mexico (shows/luxurious scenery and animals, the cultural expériences étc)

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, delicious food!
Our family loved this resort! We stayed for 10 days and there was plenty to do. Rooms were spacious and cleaned well. The staff were all very friendly, we really enjoyed the neon and white Riu parties! Food was delicious, so many choices at the buffet, my kids would prefer to eat there over the specialty restaurants because of the variety! Only complaint we have was the on-site aquatics centre. My husband wanted to take the hobi cat out and it was green flags at sandals next door but we had red flags at our resort most of the week. Seemed more like the aquatics team was more interested in just sitting around than helping people go out on the water! We were told the hotel does not own the aquatics centre area so not much they could do about it. It was disappointing though as an experienced sailor, he only got to go out 1 day of 10 vacation days. Otherwise, great vacation! Thanks to all Riu staff.

The rooms needs to be cleaned properly, there were small roaches running from the closet, also the bathroom walls needs to be cleaned carefully. Why don’t you give us shavers and q-tips that’s just crazy. Teach the staff to be more polite it’s like they want us to beg them to say good morning and some of the serves were on the phone all the time instead of working as they should. The property is nice though.. they jerk chicken guys were amazing

Family Vacation
Place was clean and room was comfortable. Room service staff was excellent. Checking process was a bit confusing and staff was rude. No direction to check in, parking, and customer service was lacking. Food was good especially in the main dining area but the others was not so good. Water entertainment was not as advertised. we were not able to participate in any of the event except for vollet ball and dancing classes.
