The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was good and the views from the beach was beautiful. The hotel has plenty of taxi services available for the guess to use.. Take your own cup to drink from highly recommended..

The hotel was great, the servers were friendly, the shows were exceptional and the food was very good. My only concern was the front desk, checking in and checking out. Not a lot of information was forthcoming except to get the app and when we left we felt it was just a formality. In other words, the personnel were not very friendly.

May 09, 2022Awful continuous grunge music
The continuous pounding pool music made our 10 day holiday a nightmare. Requests to turn it down or play a different variety of music was ignored. This is pure laziness on the entertainment teams part - they cant be bothered to research difference types of music. Of course they have different types & needs of guests but they seemed to ignore the fact that the majority of guests are over 40 & no one wants to hear the same music most of the day. The hotel isn’t big so there is no way of getting away from it. You either wear earplugs or stay inside. I’ve noticed that people have been making these comments for months and months so is it a waste of time doing a review as nothing has changed? DJ Fun Fun seems to like the sound of his own voice and just repeats the same jokes and comments each day. The entertainment team are too inexperienced for this class of hotel. Brilliant dancers but it’s boring just watching them every day dance to the same type of loud booming music. Such a shame as the hotel is clean and has some lovely staff

Long Over Due Trip
We travelled from April 25 to May2nd 2022. There were 3 couples travelling in our group. Check in was fast and friendly, we had to wait for 2 rooms out of the 3 till supper time which wasn’t a issue as we put all our luggage in the room that was ready. Our phone was missing the end to plug in the Jack, we got one of the couples to phone the front desk to request the repair, it was fixed right away. Our travel agent requested all 3 rooms together prior to our arrival, we did receive rooms close to each other. Rooms were very clean, well stocked, bed was comfortable. Service throughout the resort was excellent. You can go to any of the a la cartes without pre-booking which is bonus. Animation Team was great. We look forward to returning to this resort.

Scuba caribe
Took a 3-4 hour cruise scuba diving trip on the Oaktail. Captain Morgan was the best along with his crew mate. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The reef was incredible! A must when staying at the Rui Montego Bay Resort
