Check-in Policy - A valid credit card is required for incidentals deposit, to be authorized at check-in. Deposit amount will vary based on length of stay and will be released if no charges are made to the room (timing of release varies). Suites may require additional deposits. Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.

Dogs are the only animal allowed. Up to 2 dogs per room are allowed.

Apr 08, 2025Long line for the room key kiosks
Room was well above average. The line for the kiosks was so long, and because it has no boundaries with the casino, beware of people smoking, the smell of the smoke was so strong, should have more air purifier installed near lobby. Pool was not working at the time we were there.

When I arrived to check in early the front desk lady recommended that I should upgrade to a newer room for a little more money. I was very happy with the upgrade. It was one of nicest rooms that I have stayed in on my trips to Las Vegas. The Rio has put a lot of money for upgrades. The pool area looks very nice too. No longer does the Rio seem like an average hotel. It's starting to be an above average hotel. Eight out of ten.

Apr 07, 2025Nice renovated room, bad customer service
We stayed this past weekend for 2 nights. Room was nice and clean. Check in was fine. However, the staff at Hash House a go go does not seem to be enthusiastic to serve globalist guests. Globalist breakfast was for 2 adults and 2 kids. We had 3 adults, but they only honor 2 adults order, the third adult would not be covered even if order a child entry. Never experience anything like it at other Hyatts. We would just be given an amount for each room and order what we want. If 2 adults 2 children are covered, why wouldn’t 3 adults be covered as we had no kids. Servers and waiters were rude. Very disappointed in their service.

Great experience
The Rio has been renovated. The Casino is bright and clean. The rooms are big and have a fresh look. Overall well worth staying and gambling here. Lots of places to eat. Good variety for gambling. Friendly staff. I would recommend staying here.

Apr 04, 2025A little mother-daughter get away
Check in was smooth and early and late check in are offered. The room was very clean and very roomy. The beds were a little too soft for me. Make sure you charge food to the room since you have to leave a $300 deposit. Luckleys Tavern is a must but it is pricey.
