Bad guest experience
Ambiance of hotel was great, front desk manager definitely leaves something to be desired. I booked a rate that said “breakfast for two included in rate”. At checkin, the staff member gave us our breakfast ticket for two the next morning. Next morning we went down for breakfast and realized we left the breakfast tix in the room and asked front desk staff for another. The “manager” on duty the morning 4/6 was unnecessarily nasty and stated your hotel reservation is for one guest, you can pay for the other meal”. I explained my breakfast tix up stairs has “two” guests on it, and furthermore regardless of my room reservation saying one guest, the rate I booked at clearly says “breakfast for two included in rate”. I went back upstairs and got the other breakfast card…truly unnecessary for something so minor at an “autograph collection” hotel the left a bad taste in my mouth. Also, no robes (even though listed as an amenity) and room had empty Kleenex box holder.

Excellent stay and easy walk to Rocket Arena!
I was very impressed with this property. I hadn’t stayed here since the rebranding from the Renaissance. From the moment I checked in at the front desk to the moment I checked out, my stay was a 10/10. I was greeted with a prompt smile, given an upgrade from my Marriott Status, and offered to bottled water to take up. The room was immaculate and we had a great view of Public Square. We were going to a concert at Rocket Arena, so walking through Tower City was very convenient and we felt safe without having to go outside. Our room was spacious, well lit, and the bathroom was perfect with excellent lighting as well. There was a large walk-in closet to store our things so we didn’t clutter up the room. Definitely a perfect stay and a great staff!

Historic property in great location with kind staff
We have been to a *few* Marriotts’ over the years and this one was very solid. Admittedly, the reviews were hit or miss, but our experience was legit 5/5. Holly checked us in and was absolutely amazing. We got to the property a bit early and she happily held our bags and apprised us it would be an hour or so. We came back from lunch and she saved our suite upgrade (thanks again). David @ maker’s bar was also fantastic. Made some great drinks. We will be back!

My first visit to Cleveland
I had a lovely stay. The front desk staff, Ana, Adam and Ryan, were wonderful. I had wonderful service in the restaurant and bar area. I was there on St. Patrick’s Day and it couldn’t have been a better location to watch the parade. My room was clean and comfortable. I was extremely pleased.

Iconic historic downtown stay! Newly renovated too!
We love staying at the historic Marriott Autograph Collection- the iconic Hotel Cleveland. They have just completed a multi-million dollar renovation and it’s really beautiful. The hotel is across from the beautiful public square. The staff provides excellent service. Ana & Adam are excellent at getting you checked in and answering questions. The rooms and suites are very roomy with p Aveda amenities provided. Tiffany in housekeeping keeps your room spotless. All the chandeliers are original as is most of the marble and woodwork. There is a huge lobby and lounge/bar with many comfy seating options. The Resturant Mowrey’s offers delicious food and is a great place for a gourmet breakfast. David our friendly waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to get our days off to a great start! He even recommended many places for us to visit that we didn’t know about. The entire staff there is excellent! The parking garage is close by in addition the valet is offered and is quick at getting your vehicle as well. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else!
