    Top golf and spa hotel

I suppose that many guests come here to play the wonderful RTJ Ross Bridge golf course. Tee #1 is just a few steps away from the hotel complex. Unfortunately some of the golfers had to many beers during their round and dominate the facility with their noise. It can be loud in the different restaurants or bars, or outside on the patio. As a non golf playing guest you might feel disturbed. Other than that everything is top notch.

    Poor service with minimal staff.

My husband and I joined 3 other couples with their children for a quick staycation. At check-in everything was great. The room itself was great but the service was terrible. They were not prepared for the number of guests on property. It was an 85 degree day and no bartender at the pool. After an hour and 50 minutes we cancelled our food order and just went to bed after watching our friends eat. It was obvious they were trying to operate on a skeleton crew to cut cost. we can get better service at a holiday inn. Not what you expect at a full service resort paying $300+ a night for a room.

    Beautiful Resort - Great Staff

We have now stayed at the resort on 3 or 4 occasions. What a fantastic place. The accommodations are top notch. Staff is friendly, rooms are updated and clean. It is hard to stay anywhere else. Parking in easy and convenient to the main building and lobby.

    Mostly great!

Checking in is a little odd. There are options to valet or self-park, but since no one came around we self-parked. The woman at the front desk ignored us for a few minutes, never mentioned my partner's Titanium member status, didn't even ask how we were or wish us a good stay. When we were checking out, the same woman was too busy on the phone giving someone her coffee and breakfast order to help us. The room we were received was close to the elevators (specifically asked for a quiet room away from the elevators) and had a lovely view overlooking a dumpster. There was only a half-used body lotion in the bathroom and our coffee supplies only included one creamer. Luckily, things improved. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom had both a tub and shower, there was also a nightlight in the bathroom. JT's Lounge is a delight! The bartenders were very friendly and professional. Try the Strawberry Fields. The outdoor area has two pools - one just for adults, which was very nice. But definitely go to the main pool and go down the slide (I may have gone down about 10 times!). The Clubhouse Restaurant is good for drinks, but give it a skip for dinner. The food and service are poor.

    Hot at night!

I want to love this place so bad. It’s nice accommodations. I feel safe. Friendly employees. However, don’t expect your a/c to cool any lower than 71degrees during the day and 68degrees at night with 60%humidity. If you think that 68degrees is cool enough for you at night, the 60%humidity makes it a very sticky temperature that feels more like 72degrees. It’s even more miserable when you get out of a hot shower or you are trying to blow dry your hair. I even brought my own fan this stay hoping that would help. It did not. I woke up sweating during the night and the room feeling sticky. The 2nd night there they sent the maintenance man, who was so very nice and truly tried to help, but alas, absolutely no change in the a/c. This was my third stay here and every time I’m hoping the a/c will be better, but the thermostat on the wall is just psychological warfare. It DOES NOT in fact cool to the 64degrees displayed. I will not be coming back to this hotel. I need it cook when I sleep!
