Its not better than cheap hotels
I have stayed at many hotels through Booking for a long time, but this is the first time I feel the need to file a complaint. First of all, the bathroom in the room is extremely small and narrow. It is difficult for a normal-sized person to move inside. Additionally, the provided toiletries were insufficient for two people—there wasn’t enough shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or soap. The hotel has a pool, but it was very cold. Moreover, we couldn’t use it because of another group with children who were extremely disruptive, disregarding the pool rules, and no one from the hotel staff intervened. We also couldn’t use any of the shared facilities (fitness center, lobby) for the same reason. That group and their children were behaving in a very disruptive and disorderly manner, and no one took any action to address the situation. During the night, someone knocked on our door two or three times, waking us up. These issues might be acceptable in budget hotels, but they shouldn’t happen in a hotel that charges $190 per night. In short, we did not get what we paid for. It’s currently morning, and as soon as my son wakes up, I just want to leave this place.

After check-in, everything was great (other then tv being fuzzy) room nice, nothing broken, quiet, brkfst food fresh.
Check-in was a pain. Original plans was to stay at Mt Airy, but systems were down. Booked room for 2 nights at BW Poconos while was at casino. By time got to hotel, they didn't have a reservation for us, even though I had a conformation. Finally fixed issue. Should also explain there is a 50 dollar hold on top of room fee (not saying that was a issue)

Unprofessional
The hotel website stated that they have 24 hour customers service at the front desk however during my 9 nights I only saw a person at the front once. Also the property manager was very rude and unprofessional. He give a bad name and representation of Best Western.

As Usual With Best Western, You Can't Go Wrong
Loved this place. It sits up on a little knoll and has great views. Diana and Jerri at the front desk check in were wonderful. Fitness Center has a great chest press machine. Heated pool very clean. Room was spotless and had a fireplace. Lots of food choices on Route 611 and Mount Pocono is only 15 minutes north where you can get any chain restaurant you need. I would give this place a solid "A."

Adequate
The area is expensive, I figure, because of its location in a heavily traveled and touristy area, and the price doesn't reflect the quality of the hotel. As Best Western Plus hotels go, it's just average with no special features. The room and the bathroom were small. I don't think this hotel has the TLC of other Best Western hotels I've been to. It seems to me that they were taking short-cuts in maintenance and cleaning. The windows were dirty. The stairway appeared to be in need of vacuum cleaning. I had a note on a laminated card that said my room would only be cleaned every three days. We were there for three nights and never even had our trash cans emptied on Day 3. We had to go to the lobby to get dry towels. The management needs to take into account that service is an important part of a guest's experience in a hotel. On the plus side, breakfast was decent with hot foods like eggs and sausage. There is an indoor pool, although we didn't use it. We were given a discount for a three-night stay. The people were very nice to us at at the check-in desk and fulfilled all of the needs we had with towels and soap.
