Disappointing hotel
Sedona is a beautiful place with amazing cliffs and amazing rocks. This hotel is not. While the rooms were spacious, they have not been updated since 1980: popcorn ceilings, carpets are dated, lightbulbs are burnt out, bathroom hand soap is missing, microwave is missing, cabinets doors were falling off the hinges, pillows were lumpy, mattress was hard. We had prepaid reservations which they could not find. They subsequently argued that the rooms were not paid for until we got a manager involved. We were charged a 25$ resort fee which we hadn’t been told about in advance. Overall very disappointing.

Mostly good
Our unit backed the beautiful creek and woods which was a great view and provided privacy. Other favorite things are the gas fireplace, the main bed and the shower were wonderful! I cleaned up 5 plies of Javelina poop outside our back door on our 3rd day. The grounds maintenance crew should keep it more clean. The hide a bed and couch cushions are worn out and we had a sore back and neck after sleeping on it for just one night. The heater would shut off in the middle of the night and would have to be restarted in the morning. The walls are very thing and you can hear people talking and their TV on in adjacent units. A lady next to my daughter complained about my daughter and and her friend laughing too loud at 10:30 pm. The weight room machines must be at least 30 years old and are outdated Overall the one bedroom unit is very large for Sedona and we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Getaway to Sedona
Road trip! Drove up to Sedona from Mesa. Did not have reservations. Found this hidden gem! Price for night was fantastic, room was slightly dated decor but all very clean, comfy and the gas fireplace gave it a romantic touch. Staff fabulous!

Don't waste your money. Terribly disappointing.
Don't waste your money. For the high price, this place is dreadful. Our 'luxury room' had: Holes in the ceiling, dirty and disgusting bathtubs.. we therefore refused to use, tissue dispensers hanging off the wall, shower handle hanging off the wall and therefore dangerous & unusable, holes and tears in the shower curtain, fireplace didn't work. We spent 2 nights here and it cost over $1000! Never again.

Great Stay
We very much enjoyed our stay at Poco Diablo. Great room, clean and comfortable. All the modern conveniences. Good bedding too. Beautiful setting all around. Helpful and friendly staff. The grounds with the outdoor pits were a special touch.
