Amazing Resort with beautiful views. We enjoyed the excellent food for both brunch and high end dinner options.

We enjoyed our stay at Poco Diablo. The Resort had beautiful views and provided extraordinary customer service and care. The team went above and beyond to make it a memorable visit. We enjoyed both Brunch and Dinner at the Willows Kitchen & Wine Bar.

    Worst experience EVER!

I stayed in Mar 2025 and unfortunately I had a terrible experience at this place. I agree with few reviews that the web page paints a good picture of the services, amenities and the room, however, the reality doesn't match up. We booked a serenity lawn room for our stay and the room was spacious to start with and had a bath tub within the room itself as stated. However, the maintenance of the room was very poor. The drainage from the bath tub within the room would clog the tub within the bathroom. The flush for the water closet used to keep running. There was no response from the housekeeping or the front desk after we indicated the issue to them. Coming to amenities, for a resort this big, the pool area is a joke and is not maintained properly at all. Additionally, somebody was taking a private class in the gym and it was not open for guests. All of this was pointed out to the front desk and we got no response from them. Amenities like fire pit were not functioning. Unfortunately, this was the aftermath of what had happened when we checked in. When we parked the car near our room, a heavy tree branch fell on the front of the car damaging the windshield of the car and created dents on the roof and the hood of the car. The service staff was friendly and helped us with the cleaning and also took photos of the incident. The front desk manager Philip Watt was notified and he assured us that he will reach out to the property management and start the review process with the insurance agency. It was unfortunate of us that we didn't create ruckus because for the next two days the manager would always head to his office when he saw us coming for answers. In the end, it has been 2 months and we haven't heard any response from him. Lastly, the price paid for the entire experience didn't match the service provided. These issues and shortcomings negatively impacted our stay/experience making our vacation stressful. I strongly urge the property management to review the conduct of their employees and take appropriate action against this manager for his dishonesty. My wife and I are avid travelers, however, we strongly urge people heading to Sedona to take precautions prior to booking this resort/property.

    Awful Experience

This is a very dated property, and the rooms are extremely overpriced (even during peak season). We checked in what would be our in excess $650 +/night room to see it was a glorified Holiday Inn with no modern amenities (nothing wrong with HI either, they're just not worth approaching 1K/night lol). We chose to not stay, we immediately checked out and were there for a maximum of 30 minutes. We got the cancellation in hand (paper), and were told we'd get a full refund in about 3-5 days maximum. That never came. After about 3 weeks and some change of calling, My bank finally reflected they'd returned the money. This was in the second week of April, mind you trip was the last week of March 2025. Now here we are mid May 2025, and the Poco Diablo Resort has charged my card for the full stay + resort fees for almost $4,000... MONTHS after we came and immediately check out...Now I'm having to jump through hoops to get my $$ back and waits DAYS for what is not an insignificant amount of money to me right after a fresh move! This place with their poor service and bait & switch from the room pictures to what you get is BS. I'd stay away!

    Great for a work retreat!

I booked a work retreat at Poco Diablo Resort and the team can't wait to return once their renovations are complete! Great stay and fantastic support staff, and pretty easy to navigate from the various airports. Food and accommodations were great!
