The Melia Paradisus is amazing. We had a beautiful view from our room, the beach is expansive and breathtaking! We have come here many times and it has always been great. The food was great and I love being able to have breakfast and lunch right at the beach.

Review November 13-21
There were two things that I’d like to mention. First of all, we were there a whole week and requested several times to get wash cloths to our room and each request never got done except one day. We literally showered the whole week using towels to wash ourselves. We cannot understand why we could not get a washcloth. Something doesn’t add up. Sounds like a complaint, but we really feel that it was something not out of the ordinary to ask for wash cloths for the showers. Also, we were in building 20 and we put up with screaming young people at 2 o’clock in the morning, at least four nights. They had no regard for people like us who wanted to go to sleep. I know you cannot control that to a point, but it was a sticking pointthat may stop us from coming back. We may look more into an older resort. That may stop us from coming back. We may look more into an older resort, for 55 and older people maybe. Overall, we loved being there and it is top-notch, but those two things stand out.

Paradisus Palma Real
Our stay at the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana was outstanding. The resort is stunning, the beach is beautiful, the staff are delightful, food and entertainment were great, the room was beautifully appointed, spacious and airy. Special shout outs to Bernalis and the team at Sante, Harry Milor for his attentive service and friendship, Martin for making every day at the beach perfect. From start to finish it was a perfect holiday, and being in The Reserve was such a worthwhile luxury.

Beautiful beaches and great staff
We had a great time at this resort. The food was mostly good. It took us a couple days to figure out our favourite spots to eat. The beach is beautiful! Probably my favourite beaches of any of our stays in the Dominican Republic. We never had a problem finding a spot near the beach or any of the pool. It was also very close to the airport and downtown Punta Cana. We took an Uber downtown one day and had a great time! The vibe is more of a relaxed vibe which we loved! We stayed on the reserve side which is adults only. When you stay there you are assigned a concierge. We were assigned Eriol and he was so great! He checked in with us multiple times a day and was able to help us with anything we needed. He played a big part in how great our stay was. He definitely went above and beyond. The next time we return we will be asking for Eriol again!

We spent a week here and had an amazing time. It was very quiet and relaxing. Our butler, Eriol was the best. Very friendly and always available if we needed anything. The pool area and beach were both fantastic. There were always Bali beds available in both areas. No need for reserving chairs early in the morning. The only reason I’m not giving 5/5 is the food was hit and miss. The buffet at times was not very good.
