    Well Managed, Lovely Property

We enjoyed a December week here for the 4th year in a row. Some of the things we love about it: 1) Staff does not revolve - we see many of the same faces year after year. 2) Friendly and helpful staff. 3) Beautifully decorated for the holidays. 4) Rooms and common areas are large, clean and comfortable. 5) Restaurant is reasonably priced with excellent food, and we enjoy the nightly entertainment with dance floor. 6) Pool is heated and the beach is just steps away. 7) It's only 20-30 minutes to W Palm Beach, depending on traffic. We have already made reservations at this resort for another week.

    Fun in the sun

This was our 4th visit to this resort. It is a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. We feel very much at home here, and at Christmas the most beautiful tree is I. The lounge area.

    One of our favorite resorts

We have been to this resort twice and it is one of our new favorite locations! We really enjoy the resort. Rooms are dated but clean. The restaurant and tiki bar are great with good happy hour specials. Prime rib and the ribs were great at the restaurant, I suggest making reservations because locals love it too! The resort actually had some really nice crafts for a nominal fee with fantastic staff and bingo was fun too! Just steps to the beach and local restaurants are a 3 minute walk. It is a relaxing getaway with very friendly staff. Cleaners, bar tenders, activities directors, waitresses, front desk were all very professional and kind. We loved seeing the manatees at the power plant and visiting the loggerhead turtle center. We also visited breakers and had a drink at the bar that has a fish tank as the bar top. Flagler museum was great too! We did have some unfortunate experiences. Last year in December, the water in the resort was broke, no water, lasted a day. This year, on our last night there, there was no air conditioning in the entire resort as a chiller was out. There really needs to be a review of preventative maintenance and communication to the customers when things occur. We turned our AC off and it stayed cooler (if 80 degree's in the room is cool) than if we left it on. We left the sliding glass doors open in the living room as there was a breeze but the bedroom windows do not open (probably for safety reasons). It was a rough night we were so glad to check out the next day. Also note, parking is $10 per night if you are not a resort owner. Vacation Village members do NOT get a discount. RCI site quotes $5 and $10 under its additional fees but it is $10/night ($70 total so factor that into your car rental, consider a ride share like Uber or Lyft). The hotel owns the parking lot so it is a shame they charge sister resort owners the same price as others. Once you pay for your parking at check in, you STILL have to go to the Vacation Village desk to get your pass, even though you paid for it! From there you will be pressured, shamed, talked into attending a breakfast to sell you a time share, and they want $20 to reserve your spot. The lady was kind of snotty and wanted us to promise we would attend if she didn't charge us $20 and we had to repeat again and again, we are NOT attending. If you do attend they will give you a gift certificate to local restaurant(s) or a visa card (which covers more than the $20 you provided to hold your breakfast space). If you do not agree to attend, they will call your room, text your phone, and slide papers under your hotel room door everyday through Weds. This is vacation village timeshare sales doing this (not the hotel) but we really shouldn't be charged for parking by the hotel and forced to go to the timeshare desk to trade the receipt in for a parking pass and then get harassed.

    December vacation in Florida

The room was very clean. We lucked out with a room facing the ocean. No need for a car. There are restaurants within walking distance of the resort. The beach is wonderful, which is right on the property. There’s always activities to do.

    Our Home Away From Home

You never have to leave the resort or Singer Island to enjoy a relaxing vacation with great food, entertainment, and a great water experience. Whether it's enjoying the beach, taking a sunset cruise on the Intercoastal, dining, listening /dancing to live music, you never have to go to far. The staff makes you feel at home and are always there for whatever you may need.
