What a wonderful experience it was for my family and I to stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise. The staff did an outstanding job of accommodating all of our needs as traveling with a toddler can be challenging sometimes. They were very kind to us and filled with the aloha spirit. I would highly recommend outrigger paradise to anyone traveling to Honolulu. The location is perfect right in the middle of Waikiki making it convenient for all of your shopping and dinning needs. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel is just steps away from the world famous Waikiki beach. My family and I will definitely be back, thanks again for a great experience.

Never Stay at this Hotel! Ever!
Attention all brides and grooms looking to do a block rate, or kama'aina residents looking at doing a weekend stay at Outrigger! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, give your service to this hotel! They do not care about customer service in general or about locals who call Hawaii home, and will trap you and bleed you dry at every chance they can. Our block rate booking with the Outrigger Paradise was the single most stressful part of our wedding planning. The hotel gave us a 90% attrition rate, which meant we were on the hook to pay for 90% of the 10 rooms we had booked with them. We were fine with this, because the hotel assured us that we would be receiving their best possible rate in exchange for this financial commitment. Yet, at multiple points through the booking process, both we and our guests found the hotel offering better rates than our own block rate (senior, kama'aina, free discovery memberships, etc.)--what's worse, our guests could see this on OUR OWN block rate reservation page! The area group sales manager, Michael Piasecki, along with his colleague Joseph Bergles, refused to honor these cheaper rates--despite other hotel staff members promising us that as long as guests booked through the hotel website, all reservations would be counted toward the block rate. To our shock, they even suggested we embarrass ourselves by asking our guests to book the more expensive rooms associated with our block rate since we had committed to them! Management refused to address this issue, and I never received a response when I submitted my complaint to the BBB. If you are planning on having a block rate of any kind at this hotel, for a wedding or any other event, I implore you to look elsewhere. After all of this, we did manage to hit our 30 nights, and when we arrived, I showed our block rate to the check-in counter and that we were entitled to a room upgrade. She put us on the third floor facing a parking lot--no view whatsoever and quite loud--and told us that the only upgrade she could offer was from a queen to a king, since these benefits were "subject to availability." The rooms themselves, despite just having been updated, are also poorly constructed. The bathrooms are cramped and the shower handle came off in my hand as I was showering! This has been downright some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be telling everyone I know for the rest of my life to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Oahu you’re amazing!
Philman was the sweetest and kindest staff member we interacted the majority of our stay with. She’s a hard worker and always provided the best and refreshed room! I loved her joyful spirit and her greetings in the morning! Give her a raise!!

A clean and comfortable stay!
The room was tidy and clean, always fresh when I left to adventure out. Yeu Wah ensured a comfortable stay for my week venture. The bed was always made, pillows fluffed and fresh coffee left on the coffee maker. I appreciated the clean towels and kitchenette as well as the extra attention to detail as they restocked diligently, what was low.
