Beach chair and umbrella rentals
My husband I travelled here to the Outrigger Waikiki Beach resort from California for our second time. This time we were celebrating our anniversary and our baby girl on the way. I was very nervous about traveling and being exposed to the sun on the beach. Thankfully Aqualani Beach Rentals made things so accommodating and comfortable with their beach lounge chairs and umbrella rentals. We rented with Aqualani 6 out of the 7 days we were on the Island. Carlos was so welcoming and helpful with getting our chairs and umbrella set up front row on the beach and moving our chairs in such a way that we were in the perfect amount of shade. Ryan was also very helpful and outgoing during our visit with setting up our chairs and umbrella and getting to know us. Thank you Carlos and Ryan for all your help and hospitality on the Outrigger Beach.

Perfect Spot
You know you're in Hawaii when you step into the lobby and the floral fragrance envelops you. You cannot beat the beautiful location of this hotel: the best beach steps away from your room, delicious restaurants downstairs and nearby, and shopping all around. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was quiet and peaceful with an incredible view from our balcony. Love this hotel!

Exceptional as always!!
As always, our stay was exceptional. Upgrade request was not a problem and early checkin was a breeze. the staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel were friendly and very knowledgable about the island. There was some exterior work being done which were informed about on checking however we really never noticed it. Hula Grill and Dukes are great places to grab a feed or just a drink at the bar. This is our hotel of choice and will be for any future visits.

Good Location Not a Luxury Hotel
This is a well located hotel on the beach in the middle of all of the Waikiki action. Employees are helpful and pleasant. Room furniture is basic and old school but room size is good. We had a beach view and it was great. We had the Costco deal which included breakfast or lunch at Dukes or Hula and both were very good. Now just a comment about the level of luxury at this hotel. Just be aware this is not a luxury property. If you are accustomed to a beautiful dramatic lobby, huge pretty grounds, a beautiful spacious pool you will be disappointed. I am giving 5 stars as it is good for the money and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Outrigger. It’s just not on the level of a high end hotel at all. Hallways are dark with low ceiling. There is no lobby and you feel a little disconnected as no one really greets you except for the housekeepers. The staff work hard but there is no personalized customer service. Not having a real Lobby is still very weird to me. Note…The beach chairs are $50 for 3 hours or all day for $100. Dukes buffet breakfast $27. Room Has blow dryer iron, ironing board and mini fridge. Keurig in each room. Hot tip try Sams Shrimp a few blocks away - amazing garlic shrimp.
