Great Spring Break Location!
This was our first stay at One Ski Hill but not our first time in Breckenridge. We appreciated the ability to walk out on the first floor 10 minutes before ski lessons started and our daughter being early :) Each unit is individually owned and ours was well stocked with everything we needed for the week! Marty, Zac, and all of the ski valets were amazing! Being handed your skis when you walk out the door in the morning is such a luxury, as well as them returning them for us at the end of the week! We were able to take the gondola into town before 5PM and then Peter would pick us up after dinners and safely drive us back. Everyone was V helpful and for us the sauna and pools were great, the indoor hot tub was working but the outdoor wasn’t but if we wanted to we had the option to walk a minimal amount of steps next door to their hot tubs :) I will end by noting that after recent reviews I called and talked with management to level set expectations and we walked through every concern and came up with alternatives, many were not needed and overall we highly recommend!

Poor value, poorly managed
We have stayed here throughout the years since it opened. We have witnessed a major deterioration of quality and service. This past time was the last time. It’s one thing to pay $2000 a night, but to sneak in the fine print a $200/night resort fee for broken indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, AND steam room is unacceptable. After contacting management regarding the issues, no regard for customer service or even a response was provided. Next time we will spend our money elsewhere

Avoid this property
Extremely disappointed with this property - most things were not functioning (outdoor Hottub, sauna, steam room..etc) and things were in extremely poor condition including our bathroom fan which leaked water. We had a two bedroom room which was updated and had a nice view. We will go next door to the Grand if we return to Breckenridge

No longer a 4 star experience
We have stayed at this property several times over the last 10 years and this was not a 4 star experience this last time. They charged us $207 A NIGHT resort fee. The hot tub steam and sauna were broken, they didn’t have the pods to make lattes or specialty coffees, and we didn’t get housecleaning services until 4pm the day before we checked out. (3 night stay) it almost seemed pointless for them to clean the room at that point and we truly don’t understand what amenities we received in order to be billed that much for a resort fee. Furniture extremely dated and uncomfortable. Sadly we won’t be returning to this property and instead will go next door to Grand Colorado. This hotel used to be a 4 star but this was a 3 star stay.

Not worth it during off peak
We visit Breck annually and either stay in a home or at Mountain Thunder Lodge. Since we were going off peak, over Labor Day weekend, the rates were decent compared to ski season so we decided to try it. While it is the best location for skiing, we found the location to be inconvenient during the off peak season. The gondola stops running around 5, so we had to drive into town and park every time we went in. Parking in Breck isn't easy, so we always needed to add extra time for that. Even thought the rates were decent relative to ski season, it was still pricey. Some of the facilities were not available, like the restaurant not being open. Our unit was a penthouse, which sounded nice, but we had a view of the parking lot and the furniture was uncomfortable, like in a cheap hotel. The unit itself was dated and could use a refresh. We will go back to staying at Mountain Thunder Lodge the next time we visit.
