Beautiful restored historic hotel in downtown. Reception and staff friendly and helpful. Stopped at the lounge and asked Leanne for restaurant recommendations. She gave me 9 of her favs. Had time to try 2. Mills Tavern for steak and the Gift Horse for seafood. Great recommendations! Leanne is the Best and makes a great Old Fashion.

Great way to bring in New Years 2025
Although I did not use any restaurants on property, the room itself was nice and clean! All staff that I had spoken with were friendly. Room furniture had minor scratches as expected. The little coffee shop provided great friendly service as well. I will definitely stay there again !

NO POOL (TA description is wrong)
Convenient location with a bridge to the Providence Place mall, dated decor. Nice lobby but a long line for car drop off and then check in. Most importantly, the Trip Advisor description is wrong — there is no longer “a heated indoor pool”. That was for our family who had booked because of this.

Surprisingly memorable experience
I had a wonderful experience at the Omni Providence. I was visiting Rhode Island on a special-occasion trip to visit friends and family, and chose Omni for the value and location. I was quite impressed by how the staff made my stay incredibly warm and hospitable. Each person I encountered, from the front desk team of Jennifer, Samira, Kate, and Stephanie to the bellhop Wilford, the room attendant, Jackey, exceeded my expectations with their kindness, professionalism, and diligence. This team is clearly well-trained along and conveys a good team culture -- the team, especially Jennifer, also had great senses of humor to make me smile. The location is convenient, walkable to anywhere in downtown Providence, along with nice views of the city. I would highly recommend coming to the Omni for the hospitality, location and extraordinary value. I extend sincere thanks to all the staff here for a memorable birthday weekend. I am really impressed.

Please, someone tell them that they are an Omni Hotel
This used to be a nice hotel. Now it’s a huge disappointment. Everything is run down starting with the elevators. Phone in room doesn’t work. Last night at 2am valet had an issue with my car and called over and over, every time I answered there was nobody on the line. After the third call I unplugged the phone and my wife had to go down the elevator to figure out the issue - at 2 in the morning. None of the electrical outlets work they are all too loose to hold a plug. Flemings is a mediocre at best steakhouse with prices like it’s Capital Grill.
