Omni should remove their name from Atlanta’s location.
I’m trying to be positive because I LOVE the Omni chain. We actually choose vacations based on having an Omni location. This was a disaster from the start. We earned icon status on this vacation and I couldn’t even enjoy that. I had a call from Omni two days prior to our stay. I asked about private transportation because I know uber has issue at Atlanta airport. She said I’ll email you confirmation/ I didn’t receive email so I called hotel 3 times prior to flight and no reply to emails or calls. Needless to say we didn’t have private transportation but arrived about 2 hours after we landed due to the weird uber laws Atlanta airport has) We did pre check in online. I received an email stating to go to the wall and my room key would be there. Great! I arrived and was walking to a wall when a woman yelled what are u doing?????…no..you need to stand in line. I explained I already did pre check and it said (before I could finish….) “stop..did you receive a text?” No…but i got an email…” get in line like everyone else” ok! So I waited in line! Our front desk person was lovely! He said “oh please hold, you already checked in…and proceeded to walk to the wall and get the room key that was already waiting for me to grab! Ok..moving on. This location only has really two restaurants on property. It took 2.50 hours to have a glass of wine, water (which finally came after I finished my meal) and a salad! 20 min after waving down our server and I finally got the check. So lesson learned…let’s order dinner in the room. We ordered two very nice bottles of wine and 3 full course meals. Came to about $600. I called the front desk and asked if there was any chance to get a second chair. We only had one in our room with the table and we wanted to be able to eat. “No, that’s not an option. Can I help you with anything else?” This hotel is convenient for location and that is it. Omni should be ashamed to have it in its portfolio. I will tell you that the maintenance man who personally walked us to the convention center, the housekeeping and the front desk check in…were so friendly! If it wasn’t for the convenience of how close this is to the convention center.. I would never stay here! Not for $2200 a weekend.

Nice place although the price is high
The front desk and room services were good and the hotel is conveniently located. It worked out very well for my business trip and could be a good option to bring the family for leisure. I have stayed for 4 nights and the housekeeping services were very good.

Near excellent
Room 1264, 4 nights. The good, Excellent staff all around. Room was near the elevator, yet very quiet and hotel was packed. Very clean, updated room. Comfy bed, great view of the ferris wheel. Breakfast was not cheap, but very good. The bad, Nothing to pick on in the room. Location is nice, but careful walking around at night, lots of shady characters. One of the elevators in the north tower was glitchy. Shower could have had better pressure. Overall, would stay here again.

Nice room, bad experience otherwise.
The room itself was clean, comfortable and tastefully appointed. Very pleased on that point. Top Flight bar had an excellent burger and pleasant service, which were welcome after a later arrival and a day of airlining. Half the elevators were out of service during my stay however. Having waited long enough on one occasion to be willing to climb the ten flights to my room after standing at a convention booth all day, I was advised that the nearest stairwell was out of service also, which one would think to be some sort of code violation. An escalator in the path to the adjacent convention center was also inconveniently out of service. Layout of the property was one of the more confusing that I've experienced. Street access/traffic was difficult, and the presence of two access points (North/South tower) with limited signage is also confusing for those without prior experience of the property. Plan on paying for Wi-Fi unless you consent to data collection/sharing via the loyalty program. I understand that the world isn't perfect and am not normally the type to leave bad reviews, but on the two occasions I visited the breakfast buffet, the charges billed were in excess of those authorized, with the most logical explanation being "adjustment" of the gratuity by the staff entering the bill. Being unable to reach anybody to address the matter the next day was the deciding factor motivating this unfavorable review. I can offer grace for broken elevators and will tolerate being charged for amenities that most rural backwater hotels offer gratis these days, but I draw the line when it comes to blatant fraud/dishonesty of this sort. If I ever attend an event at the adjacent GWCC again, I'll be booking my accommodations elsewhere.

Disappointing
I had a frustrating experience during my stay. The WiFi in the room was unreliable, causing me to miss an important meeting. Elevators were another issue—despite having four, only two were operational, leading to 5-10 minute wait times every day. Additionally, my room key card frequently stopped working, requiring multiple trips to the reception for recoding. To make matters worse, the phone on the 10th floor didn’t work, so I couldn’t even call for assistance. I was also informed that key cards deactivate 30 minutes before checkout, which seems excessive—5 minutes would be more reasonable. For the high price per night, I expected better service and amenities. Overall, a disappointing experience.
