Nice stay
All in all a good stay, this was our first time visiting Amelia Island so we figured we’d give Omni a try. The hotel grounds are expansive and it took us a while to figure out the lay of the property but it is very nice. If I were to stay again I’d probably not get the oceanfront room but rather the pool view. Keep in mind EVERYTHING is expensive here. They charge extra for self parking and also if you want umbrella and chairs at the beach, Cmon Omni really? The restaurants are not cheap but if you have a car there are other places near by. The pool are was very nice with the fire pits. I will say that we had to change our dates of stay a couple of times due to some personal reasons and even though I booked a non refundable non changeable rate they were very accommodating.

Fun in the sun
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Aron at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with an issue when American Airlines dropped the ball on getting me to the Island on time. The hotel was nice, but in some areas could use an upgrade. Would definitely stay again.

Great spring break
Overall experience was very nice. The heated pool was perfect for my 5 year old. Pool side service was quick. The BBQ at Falcons Nest was good. Everything was great with the exception of forgetting my bathing suit, but the resort had a nice selection of pool necessities.

Amazing Resort
I had an amazing time at Omni Amelia. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very attentive, the resort was clean. Food was great. I played a lot of golf during my stay. Both courses I played were very nice. When it cam time to check out, Summer & Broone at the front desk gave me a parting gift I could take home to my family. I was hoping to get something at the gift shop but it was closed. That was very kind of them. Looking forward to going back.

First day experience was disappointing especially considering the high price.
Looks like a luxury hotel with large pool and beach access directly off of lobby. Very large hotel and grounds. But the room was disappointing. I requested beach view and got it but the room was 300 feet (100 paces) from the elevator. My wife is handicapped. The room HVAC did not work properly and the room was very cold. I tried to call front desk but the phone did not work. Ice machine was next to elevator so another 100 paces to go back to get some then 100 paces to get back to room. The bell man did not volunteer to get me ice upon delivering bags. No light by desk so i had to move lights arund. First restaurant I tried (Veranda) was OK but not 4 star. The cost was extremely high. the hotel is 20 miles from Ferdinand Beach which is the main tourist area.
