***Important Information for our guests***
The Dominican Republic imposes various restrictions each year for Easter.  The restrictions usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday, and run a few days past Easter Sunday.  The following regulations may be enforced:
*Motorized watersports may be banned
*Non-motorized water sports may be limited, or banned
*Alcohol consumption may be restricted  (most resorts obtain a special permit which enables them to serve alcohol to nonnative persons during the ban)
*Music may be limited or silenced

These guidelines are currently vague because actual enforcement by the local government does vary greatly from one year to the next.  Each year the actual policies are not published by the local authorities until just prior to Easter.  These rules are designed for the safety of everyone, as beaches get extremely busy during this period.

Go to Majestic instead you won’t regret it

This is much in need of a remodel. Staff is excellent except for front desk. Food and entertainment BLAH. Perfect beach location, beach and pool are great but go a few resorts down to Majestic it’s a million times better! B

You get what you pay for

This resort is a budget resort so don't expect anything to be nice. Rooms will have issues and your stay will also be pain full from check-in to check-out. The only thing that is good is the weather and that you have a place to sleep. Other then that don't have very high hopes.

    Service and food need improvement

Very poor service. Little to no English and staff often acted exasperated by us trying to communicate in Spanish. Food is not good and it is difficult to get reservations in the restaurants.

    Never again!!!

Do not go here!!!! We got there on Thursday and when I went to book restaurants on Friday there were none available!!! I was told to line up in a huge line every morning at 7 am!!!! I ended up getting only 2 reservations of their choosing each for 9 pm!!! Buffet was horrible and lines were huge and guests bud the line. Guests and staff were cold and rude. The male staff at the pizza place wouldn’t even come around to face us when taking our order just stood behind us all rude like! had a staff member take a tray away while I was about to take from it. I had people bud at the bar. Staff spoke no English. Was told the hotel was overbooked! Lines everywhere!!! Rooms were super outdated and falling apart. We couldn’t sleep because it sounded like the theatre was right in our room !!!! Positives are the grounds are well kept, the pool and beach are beautiful. The foam party was great and went on for an hour and a half!

Dont waste your money and time

The rooms are so old that they dont look clean at all. Superior bedrooms are too small for 4 people’s accomodation. There are rooms over the restaurant, where in the morning you’re waken up by utensil noises. The sea was always with waves and it is not a silent swimmable sea but rather play with the waves. Not so suitable for small kids. The food is mediocre, long lines for grill at dinner and eggs at breakfast.
