Not as expected
Disappointed. Room dirty. Never had our room cleaned. I asked multiple times. No telephone in room. I asked multiple times. Hotel somewhat outdated. Pool was decent but very small. Breakfast was good. That was the best part. Just overall disappointing

Bummer
We’ve been staying here for the last THREE days with a leaking toilet, and despite repeatedly asking the front desk over several days to send someone to fix it, nothing has been done - or whatever has been attempted has not worked. Each evening we come back to find a puddle and the same broken toilet. We would have departed already but we are here for the holidays and there is little availability elsewhere. How hard is it to send maintenance to handle something as basic as plumbing? I shouldn’t have to use towels to mop up toilet water on our vacation. This isn’t just inconvenient – IT’S UNSANITARY! Fortunately, we’ve been able to use the bathroom in our children’s adjoining room. But we booked two rooms for a reason and it wasn’t to share the same bathroom. I expected better. Placed another call to guest services yesterday afternoon asking again to speak to a manager and was assured we would receive a call back in 10 minutes. No call back from anyone and no repair even attempted yesterday. At the very least, we expected to be moved to a different room. But apparently, guest comfort is not a priority here. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored and dealing with management that doesn’t care about basic maintenance and unclean conditions. Totally unacceptable. Some added perspective. We are paying more than $6k for 2 rooms for 6 nights. Still have not spoken to a manager. We’ve asked for a credit due to this inconvenience and were relayed a message, from the manager through the front desk attendant, that they’ve offered a whopping credit of one day’s resort fee for one of the rooms, $40…Yes, $40. I travel quite a bit and have stayed in a wide range of hotels. After the basic requirement of a clean, comfortable room the key differentiator to me is service. They are clearly missing the mark here and I’m sure you can find better accommodations with service that is commensurate with this level of cost. Bottom line: Still no fix yet and no offer to move rooms, no reasonable credit offered …or better yet, an apology.

Great location! Wonderful staff!
We recently stayed for 4 nights for a girls trip. We had an ocean view room with beautiful views. The staff was amazing. Everyone we encountered from the front desk to the cleaning personnel were just wonderful. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the hotel itself has seen better days. The hallways are tired, carpet raggedy, walls scraped and dinged. It is in desperate need of an overhaul. I mean, was it "ok" at a 2 star standard? yes, but to demand a 4 star rating at 4 star prices it was bad. The room was better, it felt very clean although definitely in need of updates. We had a beautiful large patio with great furniture BUT our patio door was terrible! At one point we were out there enjoying the view and could not get back in without a huge struggle. The door was heavy and hard to open, kind of off the track so we did not use the patio after that. Another downfall of the patio was smokers. I am not sure if allowed but it seemed as thou everyone around us were out smoking on the patios which made for a miserable experience out there anyway. The common areas of the hotel were fine. The parking garage is also kind of a pain. no elevator so you need to climb stairs to get to the lobby level so be sure to drop off bags at front before parking or you'll be dragging them up 2 flights of stairs. The pool area is nice. We did utilize the adult pool, bummer that the hot tub was all closed off under repair. Kind of awkward that to get to the pool you need to go through the lobby bar/restaurant. We walked the boardwalk but also used the shuttle to the beach which was a great perk. We had drinks in the lobby bar every evening, nice but very pricy. The location was very nice. Easy to get in and out of.

Needs Renovations
We used to love coming to Naples Grande. Unfortunately they are not keeping up the property at all. Many areas need a lot of attention and better up keep - so many areas are falling apart. Hot tubs, fountains were not working, the pools in the spa had mildew. Sad to see it go down hill. We are so disappointed!

Not The Same, Various Areas Need Attention
I have not been back to this hotel for about 5 years. I was in the area so I thought I'd take a walk around. Apparently, it changed hands in 2022. Sad to see that it is not being kept up. Many areas need pressure washing, such as the curbs and side walks. Sidewalks are needing repairs with missing pavement. Fungus needs pressure washing on the outside walls, plus it needs a paint job. Surprised to see the once beautiful water fountain by the pool not working. Several areas of the patio deck needing minor "pothole" repairs; you would think risk management would want to correct. Also, a lamp shade was crooked directly across from the check in area. Like it's obvious and it just takes a few seconds for someone to fix (I just made me wonder how long it was like that)? The beautiful circle fountain by the escalators also needs a cleaning and up keep. So, it does make you wonder if corporate is just avoiding the upkeep and if these are obvious in the open what other areas are being neglected behind the scenes? It's just a shame to see it like that especially when we can see the difference from being there before and the difference we observed now. I will let the photos speak for themselves.
