The Le Gourmet Restaurant at Majestic Colonial is excellent! Elpido the Manager is a joy and his team (Rafael, Miguel, Leticia, Geordany and Riquerme) are warm, attentive and kind. The food prepared by Chef Joendry is delicious! During your stay make sure to get reservations at this restaurant. Thank you Elpido for making our stay amazing!!

We were at this resort Dec. 30 to Jan. 6 and all had a fantastic time. We were a family of four. The resort on the whole, is beautiful. The pool is winding through tropical plants and is very scenic and relaxing. The beach is lovely soft white sand, but the sea was a bit rough for those of us who aren’t great swimmers. It was easy enough to find beach chairs and a shady spot. There were vendors walking the beach, but at no time were they bothersome and just walked away if you told them you were not interested. Our room was quite large with two double beds, a single bed and a couch. It also had two clothes closets, a large shower with good water pressure. The toilet area in a separate area was very small. There was also a jacuzzi which we did not really care for. They need new towels, in my opinion, as they do not look white anymore. Our clothes always seem damp and this could be from the air circulation. It’s for this reason why I’m only giving 4 stars. The food on the whole, was excellent. The buffet had something for everyone’s taste and plenty of it. The Japanese restaurant was our favourite of the specialty restaurants. The entertainment staff are just great people, always doing their best to keep everyone enjoying themselves. Our checking-in and checking-out was a “breeze”. The lobby area is large with lots of seating and a lovely bar in the lower area. The bartenders all seem to be working so hard and at the same time having a good time. I think this resort is due for renovations and would like to return some day.

typical resort, was a good time
large place. clean. friendly. gym was good lots of machines and free weights. food was ok, lots of selections. Restaurants are ok. Some food is extremely salty. Depends on your taste. Ocean , nightlife, your typical resort. Would we go again? probably

Lovely Experience
The staff here are very helpful and attentive to your needs! Yorderlin at reception helped us check out smoothly, Victoria who is a part of the animation team led a great beach yoga session. Juan and Adolfi were so lively and great servers at the restaurants, and our butler Fernando was great at making sure we knew what was going on at the resort that particular day! Staying at the Majestic Colonial was a great experience.

Animacion Majestic Colonial
Majestic Colonial is a very nice resort…people are so friendly, food are good..Beach are very good and we have a swim up…pool is very clean Christina animacion is a very nice person. We met her at the lobby and shes very friendly. 😊❤️❤️👏👏🥰😍🎈🎈💗💗
