A little piece of paradise!
We loved everything about this hotel! Great location, very clean, and easy access to all 3 parks. The pool was amazing - we loved the water stations and pool servers. We left there to come to Pop Century and I wish we didn't. Universal was a much better experience than Disney and if they keep up the same level of service without jacking up their prices then I believe they are going to be the better choice when in Orlando. We would love to return again!

Beware of being overcharged on your bill!!
The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are really nice. We like the pool itself and the waterslide. It’s hard to get food at the pool bc you have to order from a roaming waiter and those are hard to find. The food at the pool was awful though. We liked the access to the water taxi to get to City Walk, however they do not come as often as they tell you so it can take a while to get one. The restaurant selection at the hotel is expensive and more suited to adults’ tastes. I had to take my 12 year old to City Walk so she could find something to eat. My biggest complaint is the fact that they sent me a bill for a Fiji water bottle ($9.76) that was still on the desk in the room after we checked out. We didn’t even touch this water bottle. Sure, I sent a text and had the charge refunded, but the point here is that I should not have to double check my bill to make sure the hotel isn’t trying to steal from me. This is very dishonest & shady, and based on that alone I don’t think I could give them my business again.

One of my favorite on-site
I've stayed here +10 times since this property has opened and have stayed at all onsite Universal properties. This is my go to when I don't need an Express Pass, as 3 of the premium hotels do include Express. This hotel provides a great balance of cost and amenities. It's a significant step up in quality from their lower tier properties (Aventura & Cabana). Quick boat ride to the gate. I will say this property has the longest boat wait times due to residents of the next door Aventura walking over to use the boats. Same thing coming back from the parks. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds. The onsite "market" has some nice grab and go things as well as nice selection of adult beverages to enjoy in the room. Strongwater Tavern has great drinks and good small plates. Spring for the sapphire suite if you'd like some extra room. Good value for a middle of the road level hotel that puts you close to the action!

Amazing Hotel and Service
We stayed at Loews Sapphire Falls during Christmas Holiday ( 7 nights) Everything at this hotel was great. Check In was easy and efficient , we received all necessary information for our stay. Room was specious, clean and included everything we needed ( we don't stay in the room - sleep, wash and get out) Fridge and coffee machine were great - bring your own coffee pods if you like quality coffee. Pool was AMAZING : bar , food, water slide for kids and many lifeguards made us feel safe. Arcade was a nice touch. We also ate at the restaurant - pizza, burgers, once breakfast - service was excellent. Hotel also has a food counter, universal gift store, bar.... Service at this hotel was just amazing - every interaction we had was professional and friendly. Not to forget free water taxi to City Walk or you can just walk there 10-15 min top. We will be back for sure to visit Super Mario Park.

Excellent Hotel
This is our first time ever to Universal and to a Universal Hotel (we are Disney people) so we did not know what to expect. Valet parking was easy. Check in was a little slow, not bad at all and we reserved the kids suite with an extra rollaway bed that was already in the room…..perfect! We were apparently upgraded to a pool view which was a bonus. The kids loved having their own room with a tv, table, chairs, and plenty of storage. The hotel is beautiful and the pool is awesome, they said it’s heated but during the Fl cold front, it was just to cold and not many people hanging outside. I’m sure the summertime, it’s packed there. Plenty of food and beverage choice, the Tavern does serve strong drinks, but is packed in the evening. The boats run every 15 minutes, but walking directly to the park using their tropical paths takes 20 minutes so we did both, got some extra steps in. Everyone is very nice at the hotel, we just wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the parks more. We will stay here again!
