Beautiful Resort, Great Staff
I went up for a short trip to Universal for Mardi Gras. I stayed at the beautiful Sapphire Falls Resort for 3 nights. I was welcomed on arrival by two lovely young ladies at the desk named Star and Noel. They were so nice and welcoming. They made sure I had all information I needed to have a wonderful time during my stay. Sapphire Falls is a beautiful Resort with the kindest Staff. You receive a text after checking in welcoming you. This opens a link of communication between you and the staff. They will check in to see how your stay is going . This is also a way for you to ask for any additional things you might need during your stay. The rooms are spotless and you have all the needed toiletries provided in your bathroom to make sure your stay is complete. If you need any additional items a simple text to the staff and you will have what you need. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The linens and towels are nice and soft. There are plenty of onsite food choices. I had a meal at the Amistista Cookhouse restaurant and it was wonderful. The food and service were fantastic. There is a nice large pool with slide. A workout room and all the needed amenities to make your stay a great one. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. I have stayed here many times and I have never been disappointed. Thank you to all the staff for another great stay at the beautiful Sapphire Falls Resort. I will be back.

Great location and resort
This was our first time at one of the Universal resorts, although we'd been to the theme parks before. We came as a family (two adults and a 10-year-old). WARNING: when you check in to the hotel, make sure you get your park tickets as well! Unlike other resorts, park tickets and room keys aren't related. We (and several others) got booted out of line at the theme park because we didn't have tickets (even though we'd already checked in and bought the theme park package). This is an embarrassing glitch in their system (if you ask me) so make sure you talk to the front desk about it and are 100% certain you have theme park tickets as well as room keys when you check in. Other than the first-day fiasco getting booted out of line at the theme park, this is a great hotel. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool, but it looked absolutely amazing (a little cold outside since it was February). If we come back we'll definitely try that. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. Parking is a bit expensive but about what you'd expect for theme park resorts in Orlando. We took the water taxi one day, but otherwise used the paths by the waterway since they were just as fast and (in our opinion) more pleasant. Overall, I thought it was worth the expense.

rude staff
Called to make a reservation. We wanted the despicable me room. They will not guarantee you the side by side beds. We call the front desk we were insulted saying "you are listening to social media posts" ... 10 mins late she agreed there are 2 types of despicable me rooms . and the second room is smaller and sub par. She then transferred us to the front desk we asked if there was currently a room, she said yes, we asked for a guarantee she said no. We asked why she can't guarantee she said "I already explained you the process" I asked what would make it so that we don't get the bigger room, she said I have already talked to you and so now I am hanging up.. they need some administration changes. who is going to spend 5000$ and not know what they are getting

Family vacation
We just stayed at this beautiful resort. Very clean. The pool water was warm. There is a walking path to the parks or you can take a boat ride over. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There are two restaurants on property and a little quick service market. Highly recommend

Good place, overpriced extras
Massive hotel with good transport to Universal parks as one would expect. Pool is terrific for kids, hot tub good for adults, workout facility is as good as you will find in a hotel. Quality of a good, private gym. The grab-and-go food place off the lobby is terrific and the food is good, but it’s not cheap and is the only place on property that’s not going to put it to you on prices … as in, drinks are far more than at the parks or at City Walk. $16 (plus mandatory 18% gratuity) is dumb for a beer but that’s just business these days. They know they can rob you. Keep an eye on it as the 18% is added but you are not always told, so when you pop in 25% on your own, well, math is math. You might have to walk three days to your room. But it’s a good place with good staff but the prices are largely outlandish even when you are ok and used to paying resort upcharges.
