Universal Trip
Hotel location & Express theme park access were the key reasons for booking this hotel. Lobby was clean and always smelled wonderful. However, the rooms were not resort level. Room/bathroom were dated, shower pressure was super weak. In room coffee maker was super dirty and didn’t use it. Access to park was very close by walking depending on the tower of your room location. Ferry boat was good if your room was close to pool/tower 3. Sushi/bar restaurant was always busy and needed more staff to cover the amount of guests. Vacation planning center for your tickets were conveniently in the lobby. Housekeeping were fantastic throughout our 6 day stay.

Wonderful short family stay
We loved this resort for so many reasons but the highlights included clean and spacious rooms, great proximity to Universal, amazing amenities (including fully heated pool) and wonderful staff. Our family did a quick jaunt to Universal and stayed three nights at this hotel. We really enjoyed our time and got the most out of this resort. Easy grab and go breakfast from the small marketplace and ferry service (or walk) to the parks + quiet and enjoyable pool time when we needed a break. Bonus that the unlimited express passes were included - we found this hotel to bring great value for the rates. Would absolutely stay here again!

Run down hotel that calls itself a ‘Resort’
Let me preface by saying we spent nearly $2.5k for this experience for 4 days, ONLY for the room. Starting with the good, because there aren’t many: - The staff are amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and respectful. - The lobby is stunning. There’s a courtyard with a pond and a beautiful sushi restaurant in the corner. The food at was amazing too, but visually wasn’t all that great. - Incredibly close to the parks. A walk takes about 10 minutes and you can get there a tad quicker in the water taxi, but depending on the line it could take longer than walking. Either way transportation is easy and simple from this resort. Now the reasons we won’t be returning. For $2.5k, we got: - Mold in our bathroom, photo proof. - Walls/art was torn up, also photo proof. - Outlets are yellow and incredibly loose. We had to use our portable chargers because the outlets wouldn’t keep pushing power to our devices. Photo proof. - No smart TV to allow for Netflix, YouTube, etc. I feel like having to bring my own streaming device to a resort in 2025 shouldn’t be necessary. - Parking: after spending again ALMOST $2.5k TO STAY AT THE RESORT, we were also charged $36/night to park our own car. No valet, no special spot, just to park our own car in their lot. On top of charging you directly for parking, they don’t tell you how to get out without paying AGAIN for the ticket you pulled to initially park. You have to KEEP your room key, do not leave it in the room or try to return it. Use the back of your room key to exit the lot. We will not be returning to this resort, as for nearly the same price we can certainly find another location in much better upkeep and even pay for parking at the park and come out cheaper. I just can’t imagine spending this much and being happy with these results.

Lovely stay
Loews Royal Pacific Resort is a beautiful hotel in an unbeatable location for visiting Universal Orlando. It’s just a short 10-minute walk or a quick 5-minute water taxi ride to the parks, making access incredibly easy. One of the biggest perks of staying here is the included Universal Express Pass Unlimited, which allows you to skip the regular lines at most rides in both theme parks. This saved us so much time and made our experience far more enjoyable—definitely a huge bonus! Our room was lovely—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing and immersive atmosphere. While we didn’t use the pool, it looked well-maintained and inviting. The only downsides were the noise levels. The Hulk rollercoaster at Islands of Adventure runs late into the night (sometimes until midnight), and with non-soundproofed windows, the noise was quite noticeable. Additionally, the walls and doors don’t block sound very well, so hallway and neighboring room noises could sometimes be heard. Despite this, the hotel's prime location, Express Pass benefits, and overall ambiance make it a fantastic place to stay. I’d definitely consider returning!

Good enough
Hotel is in a great location to both parks. I think it’s definitely worn out. For example, pool, hot tubs, lounge chairs look rough. I would have been more upset if I paid $800 a night like during high season but we got a good deal during January. It’s a quick walk to parks. Rooms were tidy but walls are thin. This isnt luxe by any means. You are paying for the unlimited express passes and location. I think we will try the newer Epic universe hotels next time.
