Good hotel, close to Universal parks
It is a very nice, clean hotel. The rooms are comfortable and it is very close to the Universal parks. The design of the rooms is nice and clean. The only downside is that housekeeping skipped our room one day. Even though we did not get to use it, the pool looked great.

18% gratuity, no thanks.
Fantastic hotel and would love to stay there again and it would have been 5 stars all the way except there were a couple of small things. People tend to slam doors shut including the service staff to the point it would shake the walls, they would even leave the latch on when servicing a room so the door worn close fully. This means the door slams on the latch and bounces repeatedly, when you are trying to sleep it’s incredibly annoying. The pool side bar and I don’t know if this was at all bars but the hotels policy is to charge 18% gratuity when you pay the bill, besides this being ridiculous and making the whole American tipping culture a joke the tip should be optional and mandatory. We were charged this when all the server did was hand me a drink and not make it, no amazing service just opening a bottle.

Goodish
My third time staying at this hotel. Lovely area, nice room & facilities, everything as expected. If I had to criticise I would say the last thing you want as you’re checking in after a nine hour flight and a very long day is having to have a conversation about not wanting to have a daily amount of $ put on your card for spends (would have run into literally thousands for our two week stay) no quibbles at all when we said we didn’t want to have to accept this “offer” but still seems like a underhand ploy to encourage you to spend more. We were also not granted the room we requested even though the hotel received & replied to our request - I fully understand it’s not guaranteed to have this request honoured but I do feel that someone staying for 14 nights should have priority over people staying a couple of nights or even a week, wouldn’t mind if it was a adjoining room with a similar view but the view we had was quite disappointing, basically of the front of the hotel of endless vehicles dropping guests off. I also think that if you are staying in an expensive top grade hotel such as this you really shouldn’t have to pay extra for better Wi-Fi. Would I stay here again? Possibly, we still enjoyed our stay but was the least enjoyable of the three times when we have chosen this hotel.

Stay at Loews Royal Pacific Resort
This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The staff are lovely, the bedrooms are amazing, the food is brilliant and the pool is great. Also, the boat service is very quick to getting you between the park and the hotels. It has a very short walking time between the hotel and the park. Overall, a good hotel.

Beautiful vacation experience!
Our stay at Royal Pacific was wonderful from start to finish. We arrived October 30th at 10am. We were met by the wonderful Cornell at the check in desk and he was so friendly and kind. He went out out his way to speak with ny daughter who was turning 16 on Nov. 1st. He gave her a birthday button and was so sweet when we explained that she just lost her Dad a few months ago. He also came by to see us at breakfast the next to say hello. The rooms were beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The food in Islands dining room for breakfast every day was delicious with wonderful servers. Heather was a doll and so friendly and helpful. Lastly, we had a birthday dinner for my daughter at Islands on Friday evening. I had been in contact with Mariel one of the managers since before we got there and she was lovely. We brought decorations which the staff put up before we arrived for dinner. They had balloons, a little gift and a cake for my daughter. That night we dealt with Mark, another manager, who was also lovely. We were treated like family and it made my daughter smile for her special day which means the world to me. Thank you so much Royal Pacific for a beautiful experience!
