Apr 14, 2025Best adult resort in Punta Cana!!
The best resort we’ve ever been on!!! We recently stayed for our anniversary celebration and everyone was so happy and nice. Service personnel like Salvador, Luis, Nataly, Linda, Reynaldo, and Smerlin made the stay worth every penny!! Recommend reserving the best rooms to receive VIP service. The ONLY issue I could see is that if they want you to invest into the property it should be optional through booking. There was an unplanned and unexpected time share presentation. Great and nice personnel, but we did not come for time share. I still recommend this place for any adults looking for a quick getaway.

This was our second visit to Live Aqua because we loved our first time in 2023. Exceeded expectations- Eric, our butler! He was on top of everything we needed… situation with no towels.. fixed it… fan loud… fixed it! We have experienced “butler service” last time and Eric was above excellent from 2023 service! Angelo and team on VIP beach service- Angelo and his team go above and beyond in the heat and sand to make sure that everyone has what they need. I do think that they could use a little bit more help when it was really busy a couple days to meet the five star expectation of VIP service. Overall, the food was definitely much better than last time and especially the breakfast buffet didn’t skip a beat of offerings! All in all, we had a great time and everyone was very friendly. We definitely love the spa this time and had wonderful massages. We would highly recommend indulging in the spa! Our only negative would be the housekeeping lack details on supplying towels, toiletries, coffee pods and beds making. F

We arrived yesterday and so far it's rather disappointing. First, check in. We were pointed in the direction of a lounge by mistake instead of the check in desk. Eventually they realised their mistake and sent us back to check in. Instead of the usual welcome greeting, it was the complete opposite. We were then given the wrong room. We requested to have this changed and kept getting told someone was on their way to take us to our new room. After 3 phone calls and an hour, they moved us. Our garden view room has a burnt out building on the other side with construction work being carried out. Lovely. We went to the coffee shop to get a frappe and was served what tasted like seawater. I asked the lady who to be fair was lovely to taste it. She spat it out and apologised saying she wasn't sure what had happened and threw the bottle away. After 18hrs travelling we just wanted a good nights sleep. We requested to have feather pillows from the pillow menu and after a wait, got sent the same pillows we already had. We then requested this again and eventually gave up. Fast forward to this morning and we went to breakfast. The decor of the buffet restaurant is really nice and the overall quality of the food is good. However with that being said they dont have basics like fresh orange juice, only orange squash. You cant have poached eggs made fresh which is also weird. The beach is stunning, the rooms are well presented and modern but there's a lot lacking in this 5 star all inclusive and we've done many. How this has so many 5 star reviews is beyond me. It's got the foundations for a really nice resort but is lacking in so many areas. Additionally, I had emailed before turning up requesting a banner or something on the door to celebrate my partners 40th birthday. This was ignored. We've got 10 days left and certainly hope things improve. If they do, I'll update the review but so far it's a huge disappointment compared to other resorts we have stayed at and certainly wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic
Excellent resort, very quiet if you want to be part of the quiet scene, but there are activities for those who want to be busy. Rooms are very nice and spacious, food was excellent but what stood out the most was the staff, they are exceptional. Never had to wait to go to a restaurant, we tried them all, our favourite was Chez Rose, but the Italian was our 2nd favourite. Travelled as 2 couples in our 60s and 70s for 10 nights joined by 5 other friends, we all did majority beach time. Loved that there was a buffet for breakfast and lunch but other restaurants options at lunch time as well. Unfortunately we did not attend any of the shows but heard they were all great, we like early evenings. The resort is very clean and quiet, would defy go back, like the small resort feel, we’ve been to Secrets Tides, Excellence El Carmen and Excellence Punta Cana.

Nice professional trip
Yohanger best Waiter I had on the trip Very good restaurant miraflores Best ceviche and fish tacos , the rooms are very clean and the facailites are very close to everything I suggest to everyone the resort The massage was very good and the sports bar is a real sports bar
