Perfect Get Away
Spent 5 days at this resort. An old Marriott hotel with nicely updated rooms. Bathroom needed a couple tweaks but otherwise perfect. No need to rush to “save” beach chairs; plenty of poolside and beach lounge chairs as well as hammocks and beach chairs scattered throughout the property overlooking the bay. A couple of gas fire pits to enjoy in the evening. Great cocktails and food at the pool bar. We did not have dinner at the resort restaurant, thought it a little pricey with limited menu selections. A small reasonably priced gift shop on the property as well as an onsite marina offering scuba/ snorkeling tours and eco and sunset cruises.

The First Key in the Keys
This was our first time staying in Key Largo. We arrived at the front desk and the attendant was friendly and professional. She provided us with a list of hotels for dinner and breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was phenomenal. I must take a star away due to the unprofessional night manager at Gus Grille. However, breakfast was delicious and Antwon was awesome. Ask for Antwon if you go for breakfast

Excellent Florida Keys hotel stay!
Stayed at this hotel for short family trip. Very clean, very nicely laid out complex. Older facilities that are well maintained. All water views. Great pool and beach area with cabana bar and waiter service. Very friendly hotel staff, not one surly person. We took a chance on this place because of good reviews and it exceeded expectations! Great value for price, location. Recommend!

Everything you need for a stay in Key Largo
Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and daughter in August. The pool and beach area had lots of seating and a cool vibe with beachy music. Carlos at the pool bar was super attentive and we loved the lights and firepits on the beach at night. There are 3 restaurants along with food you can order from the bar. Every room has a spacious balcony. It was a great spot and would stay there for sure again!.

I booked a Bayview room. We were the first to arrive out of 14 people in our group. My room was on the 2nd floor near Gus Bar and Grill. I couldn't see the bay, only the area with the Jet skis. I called the front desk to see if I could be accommodated for what I paid for. I was told no. I understood the NO at that time.Now our family and friends are starting to arrive almost 2 hours later. 2 rooms that were booked as basic no balcony were upgraded to a balcony. The kicker for me was another basic room was UPGRADED to a 2 Bedroom suite room 100.. The rooms are old and outdated. The pool bar staff Carlos and Roderick were amazing! Now it's time to check out. I reviewed my bill and noticed that there were 2 additional charges on the bill. I questioned the first charge, and the lady was like, "That's what you ordered at the bar. I attempted to explain that I didn't order any drinks from the pool bar, I only had food. She pulled receipts for that transaction and realized someone had used our info she removed the charge. The second charge was also removed as it wasn't ours. The young lady's attitude went from polite to unpleasant. This was our 2nd time staying at this property. As the birthday girl likes it. But this is our last time staying here.
