Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. - One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required
 per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. - In the event that any guest(s) engaging in inappropriate behavior, disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s)

STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family-oriented environment, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

  • All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
  • In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    Sue Is A ROCKSTAR!!

    Sue Yon Soloman was the main reason why our trip was the best ever. She was attentive to our needs and very helpful in everything we wanted and needed. Iberostar should feel very fortunate to have her as an employee. If you ever visit Jamaica make sure you see Sue for your Hotel needs. Thanks again Sue!!

    Five Stars at JOIA Rose Hall, Jamaica

    The welcome is professionally “homey”. Smoothest check in ever. While our room was not ready, they have a place to change and we were on the beach in 30 minutes. Our room was ready early. Cedric from members services was our constant resource. What a pleasure. Our experience what truly special thanks to beach/bar service companions Mellisa and Shellisa. They are the best. Thank you so much. Donavan smoothed the day with great resort advice. Our butler, Travis provided the extra touches we needed. Our room: Beautiful room with double closets and sinks with separate tub and shower. The bed sleeps great and there is a separated sitting and desk area. The balconies are extremely generous and comfortable. Nearby activities: We play golf. Cinnamon Hill was wonderful. Two holes on the Caribbean, a beautiful waterfall, and views all over. Renesha provided caddy service. What a treasure she is to spend a morning. Safety: Absolutely safe. Venders do not leave the water, so no interruptions. Food & drinks Favorite restaurant is surf and turf. Nadia is a consummate professional. Our servers, Andrew and Natalie showed their actual care throughout our dining. Also enjoyed French, Japanese, and the Friday Gala Buffet. As for the breakfast buffet, we cannot say enough about our server Oshaya. Breakfast is what you expect with nice twists and a SMOOTHIE BAR. Lovely! Spa: In the spa, the service manager and providers were all great. Jontae Karine Jean and Kerene took great care of us. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet

    Personal opinion ……

    This hotel has mostly positive reviews….. so this is based purely on personal experience……which contradicts general opinion. We travelled as a couple in March 2025 Upon arrival the hotel was very impressive. The reception area was very grand and staff helpful. We had an issue with our booking which wasn’t resolved upon check-in but as a sweetener we were upgraded to an Oceanview room with Butler service. First impressions, our room was impressive … the view from our balcony was breathtaking. However, as the holiday progressed little snags, albeit small began to appear. We had coffee making facilities but never did get given a teaspoon or milk???? We started off with little snacks of peanuts, crisps etc., in the room but again this dwindled off. The mini bar was not a bar … very basic items provided. The toilet roll holder never remained fixed to the wall …🙈so annoying!!! Toilet paper was ‘super’ thin …. Minor things but oh so frustrating. Food in general was substandard…. The buffet was hardly open for evening meal … speciality restaurants were available but again substandard and problematic as invariably you were turned away and told to come back as they were busy! You could only book the Japanese. Breakfast was disappointing in the buffet cutlery was missing most mornings. Evening entertainment was poor… the in-house animators did their best and put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to deliver a show but never seemed to quite meet expectations compared to other Iberostar hotels that we’ve visited in the past. Lastly the staff overall were amazing. Too many to name individually … all of them, with one or two exceptions could not do enough for you! Very warm and welcoming individuals. They work so very hard to make your holiday a wonderful memory, sadly it’s disappointing that for whatever reason it didn’t quite come together for us. Members of management were seen often around the complex. Unless you spoke to them they never approached you to enquire how your holiday was going? Maybe this needs to be addressed …. They appeared somewhat uninterested unlike the general staff who constantly wanted to be reassured.

    Awesome Spa Experience

    My wife and I had excellent massages provided by Mavia and Rick-Laya. Getting to the resort was a little stressful and we needed to relax. Both women were very good at loosening tight areas and concentrating on the most tense areas. I would definitely recommend utilizing their services.

    Definitely not a 5 star resort

    Pillows are flat and uncomfortable. I am so glad I brought my travel pillow. My husband had to put throw pillow in a pillow case to sleep comfortably. Our made service was horrible! Never cleaned our outside balcony glasses piled up and they were never replaced until I complained to management. The mini bar is not a mini bar.It is simply beer and soda. And I had to ask three times for that to be stocked. The refrigerator is just a cooler. The beer was mildly cool. I also had to continuously ask for our towels to be replenished. I left a tip daily and was still disappointed every time we came back to our room
