General policies & fine print
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings traveling in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
· The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
· In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
Spring Break Groups Policy - Students/youth are considered between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy for all bookings traveling March-April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
· Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
· Upon check-in, each group will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price.
Minimum night stay restrictions may apply.
Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.

This marks out 4th visit to the Iberostar and it’s amazing. So many great things to say about the Joia Paraiso, but the best is the staff. Our concierge Pao has gone above and beyond to make our trip spectacular, the Iberostar team is second to none. Thank you Pao in tower 71!!!

The cleanest, most welcoming, beautiful resort you could ask for to spend some time relaxing and enjoying. 5 stars.
The resort and staff are very friendly. Pao is exceptional, helping us with any request. She made sure to always have a smile and talk with us when she was there. The resort is well maintained, very clean. The beaches are beautiful and kept. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to vacation.

Highly recommend, elite resort
Excellent resort. Fantastic food, friendly and hard working staff. Immaculate cleanliness of room and entire resort. Definitely one of the elite resorts that I've visited in the Cancun, Riviera Maya area. And our concierge Pao was the best!!

Five stars!
Rolando (guest interaction) did a great job- highly recommend taking the time to chat with him. The accommodations and food were great- don’t miss the French restaurant! Monserrat was the happiest human I have ever met at Star Cafe. Be sure to grab a coffee she will make your day. Was a great stay!

Winter holiday 2025
Food was excellent. French restaurant is very good. Liked it so much went twice. Abraham is. 10/10. Brought us some little extras that made the meal. Resort is very clean, service is very good. Would not hesitate to come again. Looking forward to a return visit.
