Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
- The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
- Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. of the remaining nights.
- In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

Had a wonderful time at this resort. They pampered us the whole time. The grounds were beautiful, and the beach was clean and well maintained. We were especially impressed with the Coral Lab. They are doing amazing work trying to save the coral reefs and dying coral. It is fully funded by Iberostar.

7th visit to a beautiful resort where the people/service are the best part!
Totally would recommend for the adults only, all-inclusive resort experience. After multiple stays, we come back for the beautiful beach, the food and especially the people. Even when there are issues that pop up, the staff addresses them and will listen to you. The desk manager, Luis handles any issues on arrival. Darlyn and Jose from the butler staff took care of any requests we had during our stay. Romana and Samuel are the two best wait staff at the resort and really start your day off in a happy mood at breakfast! Chris Mary at the French restaurant was the friendliest and most attentive hostess by far! Diana prepared and cleaned our room every day on time and with those added touches you look for.

Excelente!
This was our fourth visit to Joia Bavaro by Iberostar. Every single detail, from the grounds, to the interior decor, to the cuisine, has the mark of very close attention paid. By far the most outstanding feature of this resort is the staff. Professional, friendly, eager to provide the best possible experience for their guests. Our butler Junior was amazing. Several times each day he would seek us out to ensure that our needs and wants were being met. We will definitely request his services when we return next Spring. Yaris is a shining star! From greeting and seating guests at the buffet and Le Tourbillon, to clearing tables to support her coworkers, to folding napkins…. anything that needed doing to keep operations moving smoothly Yaris took care of. We called her “the Queen”. Juan at the buffet and Le Tourbillon provided exceptional and attentive service with lots of fun included! Antonio at La Tentazione and the buffet, and Jairo Ortiz at the evening buffet were also outstanding. The animation team gave us such a good time! Yeli, Luz and Black Mambo, and the DJ at the Foam Party were particular favourites. Yeli remembered us from last year; we felt like old friends! Our housekeeper Maria (room 7204) kept our room pristine and fresh. She left a sweet note for us, wishing us a perfect vacation. The staff are a credit to this resort. Kudos to management for hiring, training and providing great leadership to the exceptional team.

we had an incredible experience especially due to the wonderful staff! honestly wouldn’t be the same without them. they make sure everyone has fun here and encourages even the shy people to get up and dance and enjoy the resort to the fullest. special shoutout to black mamba, smile, chocolate, endri they provided amazing entertainment. also to the attentive and engaging bartenders, they provided a great experience and helped with liquid confidence. my butlers and rosa also helped make my boyfriends birthday / whole experience perfect and special super attentive and helpful. i can’t thank the staff enough for making this stress free and super fun every night 10/10 experience.

Excellent
Outstanding resort recommend highly immaculate grounds. Every one of the staff cannot do enough for you. Food was excellent facilities were excellent. Oceanfront views were magnificent. Even at full capacity, you didn’t feel like it was crowded. Can’t recommend enough.
