Beautiful resort
We visited during an excursion from a Norwegian cruise last week (Dec 29th-Jan 5th). We loved the property. It’s very rustic with each unit set up like small bungalows. Lots of trees and walking paths, Flamingos, peacocks, iguanas hanging out. The pool area is great. Beautiful beach. Be aware there are rocks once you try and enter the water, some form of footwear is needed. Food and service were excellent.

Amazing vacation
Stayed at the Iberostar for a week ! Beautiful property , relaxed atmosphere , good food and awesome staff . The star camp is small in size however the staff makes up for it with engaging kids in activities , kids refused to leave the star camp , big shoutout to Ismael, Rosha and Sol . These guys are amazing ! Pilates and sunset yoga by Manolo was great . Staff at restaurants is top notch . Great quality entertainment shows . My only suggestion would be to let guests know at checkin that they have a somewhat tedious checkout process , which we were not aware of and were late getting to the airport . Overall , a very positive experience !

Gerardo is very funny, the entertainment team is amazing and plans very fun events like fire shows and bingo. Gerardo makes sure to engage the guests in the activities and make them feel welcome. The resort is very fun but relaxing, I enjoyed the food and was pleased with the choices.

Another wonderful vacation!
My husband and I along with our two adult daughters spent 7 days from Dec 14-20. This was our third stay as we always have a terrific trip! Check in is always smooth, I had contacted them a week prior to our arrival to request a room halfway between the beach and the lobby and they were very gracious to oblige. We love the hut style rooms and our girls were right next door. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the shower always has plenty of hot water and shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided along with mosquito repellent citronella lotion which we all used. The beach is nice, I went down around 8:30am to put towels on chairs because if you wait you may not get a spot in the shade. It’s near impossible to walk into the ocean from the beach without water shoes because of the coral… if you walk south to the left there is an area that is sandy to wade into. The Dressel Dive guys were rebuilding the dock so there was no way to enter the water from the dock as in previous stays, somewhat frustrating because the water is wonderful and you can snorkel right in front of the beach, there are starfish and other fish right near the dock. We took 90 minutes and listened to the membership talk and in return were given 4 snorkel trips plus a car to take around the island for a deep discount! Yes, please! We enjoyed the snorkeling immensely (three reefs) and took the car out the next day and drove around the island and through the downtown area where there are shops, there were 7-8 cruise ships docked when we drove by. The food was always good, we especially enjoyed El Cedral for dinner and no longer need reservations for the specialty restaurants! The Mexican and the Asian restaurants were also delicious. Shoutouts to Rufino (always engaging) and Gerry and the entertainment team for their talent and hard work to keep the guests happy! We appreciate the staff and will return because they made our vacation very enjoyable!

Fun!
Iberostar Cozumel is an amazing place! The resort is right on the beach, so you get stunning ocean views and easy access to the water. The rooms are super comfy and well-kept, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. There are tons of activities to do, like snorkeling, diving, and even some fun evening entertainment. Gerardo is our family’s favorite staff member, he finally got my brother to let loose and have fun!
