    Best Front Desk Staff Ever

The Hyatt zilara is gorgeous. The beach is clean and pristine. Rooms are spacious, well kept, and cool. Judene, Amara, and Leonardo are truly some of the most exceptional front desk agents I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Not only are they friendly, professional, and polite, they truly go the extra mile for guests. These 3 have ensured that any time im traveling to Jamaica, I’ll be staying at the ZILARA Rose Hall.

    Terrible, don’t waste your money

The hotel was so crowded with large groups of teenagers that I couldn’t get service at a bar, I could not get a dinner reservation during my entire 5 day stay, and I could not get a chair by the pool. Do not waste your money on this property. It was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had on a vacation. The spring break party atmosphere was in full swing and I only wanted peaceful ocean waves, stress free environment for my week off. I did not get that even a little with the loud crowds and loud bass music taking over the pool and beach all day every day

The chair game is out of control for both beaches and pools. Staff does nothing to assist or address. Chairs all taken by 7am and no one shows to actually use them til afternoon sometimes. Is a very Americanized resort, does not feel like you’re in Jamaica at all. Was shocked at the amount of spring breakers, the drinking age of 18 made some of them quite obnoxious. Large crowd of under 18 year olds on a Ziva cabana drinking tons of high noons with no adult in sight, they were clearly intoxicated and disruptive. Staff seems very standoffish at times, much less friendly and outgoing than at other resorts we have been to in Jamaica. Food was pretty good, drinks were excellent and we found them to be quite strong. We did not like having to make reservations for dinner every night, and when we arrived on Tuesday every restaurant was booked until Friday so we did the buffet, calypso and the street food festival, which was the food highlight for me. Asian restaurant was the best out of the reservations we made. We did enjoy ourselves but would not return.

This is not a quiet Adult only resort

This is a mixed review mainly due to the fact it was not our original destination but was offered due to Jewel Paradise cove in Ocho Rios closing. We hoped to have an adult only experience but ended up here at high school spring break with HUNDREDS of teenagers there for a party, with Hundreds more taking their place when they left. Overall it is a good place to stay with good food and comfortable lodging but not a place to relax as we intended, our first vacation in Jamaica was far less than what we hoped for
