Amazing resort
Excellent resort! Great food all the time and drinks. Restaurants are so varied and their dinner food is so refined. Staff is so friendly and so fun. there is always something to do here. Will definitely want to come again when they finish further construction. Must have the ceviche from fresco ceviche.

The best chef and server at the Hyatt Vivid Guadeloupe & Jesus #dynamicduo
Guadeloupe & Jesus at the ceviche lunch restaurant is the best dynamic duo. Guadeloupe ceviche on Tuesday and the Taco truck on Wednesday was the best food in the whole world. Jesus service was immaculate and if you love Ceviche or have never had it you must experience it. Fish shrimp & octopus in a vinaigrette sauce is absolutely amazing.

AMAZING VACATION
Our trip to Cancun was effortless, thanks to TripGuy. The Hyatt Vivid was a perfect recommendation - great food, beautiful views, and excellent service. They arranged room upgrades, access to the Vantage Club, and a smooth airport transfer in a limo. Everything was well-organized, making the whole experience stress-free. We’ll be booking with them again!

Our visit to Heaven
I'm not usually one to write reviews, but our experience at the Hyatt Vivid was truly something else from the beginning to end. This will be long, but completely true and worth the read. Firstly, we arrived at 7 a.m. due to our flight availability, which we were nervous about because check-in was at 3 p.m. Upon arrival, a lovely man named Oscar greeted us with moist towels and stowed our luggage, reassuring us that everything would be taken care of, and our vacation had begun. We changed into swimsuits in their cafe bathrooms and were on our way! He even retrieved our luggage for us multiple times so we could get random things we'd forgotten, and was kind every time. We'd gotten little sleep on our flight, and Oscar ensured all of our stuff was taken care of during our wait-to-check-in time. Truly a joyful and peaceful first impression. While we lounged by the pool, we were quickly introduced to the Vivid's entertainment team (Orlando, Eddie, Yazmin, Gaspar, Angel) who were full of energy, running many classes including aquasize, water cycling, and Magic Bracelets by the pool. We were tired this morning and didn't participate much, but boy if we had had the energy we would've! They ran each event with so much passion and energy. It was a lot of fun even to witness. Great music from the DJ too. Drinks were run to us with astounding consistency, we never had empty glasses. I'm trying desperately to remember every staff member's name because honestly, they're all so amazing and made the trip for us. Please bring money for tips if you come; we brought Pesos. It's never expected but always appreciated, and you'll definitely wish you did if you come here because of the outstanding staff. We also signed up for and took part in the cantarito painting on the roof, it was lovely, thanks Ale! Upon checking in, we were informed we were allowed to pay $50 a day for the Vantage experience and access to the rooftop infinity pool (longest in Cancún!) and took it (Thanks Alexis!) This gave us perks such as Vantage breakfasts at the Mediteranneo, one of the many restaurants on-site. We honestly did it more for the pool, but the breakfast was good too! It's hard to beat their buffet though, we honestly enjoyed that more, but if you appreciate a more sit-down vibe then it might be for you. The rooms were immaculate. We got a beautiful golf view with a private balcony. You have a full view of their long-stretching courses and the Cancún strip. Our rooms were cleaned and tidied daily (Thanks Alesandra!). She even picked up dropped items and put them back on the desks/tables for us so when we came back, it was all clean for our evening. Much appreciated. The mini fridge was always stocked with water, Mexican beer, and pop. We laid low the first day, but had a lovely dinner at the Mediteranneo as pictured. The highlight was the appy of assorted dips with fresh pita. Our second day, we checked out the Ennea beach club. This was after we checked out one of their sister properties (Breathless) at the encouragement of Bernardo. This was probably the only less-than-heavenly part of the trip. Bernardo was very up-front about it being a sales-pitch, which was much appreciated though. On one hand, it was cool to see another property, but other than that, the sales pitch was somewhat uncomfortable and ended in a dimly-lit, loud room. The staff at Breathless were professional and kind, but we definitely didn't know the extent of what we were getting ourselves into and got out of it asap. We did get some free nights at Breathless in exchange, but honestly, I can't imagine coming anywhere other than Vivid when we return. They ensured they covered our taxi rides there and back, and we did get a nice breakfast, so all is well! The free hotel shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes with great music on the ride there. We arrived and were blown away. It's absolutely gorgeous. Great food, live DJ, all different kinds of loungers, 2 infinity pools, shaded macrame umbrellas, and of course, staff that would put angels to shame with their hard work. Standouts were Carlos and Joel. They were so conscientious and attentive, ensuring we always had everything we needed. Joel even created a beautiful sand masterpiece (as pictured) commemorating my friend's recent graduation. It was truly beautiful and we will remember it forever! If you go to the beach club, get the spicy margaritas made with fresh jalapenos, or the passionfruit mojitos. They're as delicious as they sound. There's a stairway down to the private beach, so no crowds. The waves are big so take caution, but it was a calmer day so we were able to swim with minimal issue, plus there are lifeguards on-duty. We ended up overindulging a bit that day... one of us forgot our phone on the lounger. The staff retrieved it for us and held the shuttle. Very much appreciated. We turned in early that night haha. Our last full day came so quickly. We shared our time at the beach club and main pools. As much as we adored the views from the rooftop, we didn't want to miss the activities on the floor level. More aquarobics, water cycling, magic bracelets. There are many more but we honestly didn't have enough time, though we wish we did! We ate the aguachile negro poolside at Ennea, it was delicious. We'd bought a bottle the evening before, which gave us access to the deluxe loungers, but it was very close to close so Carlos and Joel reserved it for us the next day, which was incredibly sweet. They went above and beyond for us and made us feel like princesses. It was really lovely. We've never been treated that well in our lives! We were told a Ronqueo was happening that evening at the beach club (~$80) that was a must-see. It's a traditional Mexican tuna cutting with emphasis on cultural appreciation and sustainability. We signed up at Joel's recommendation, and oh man, we're glad we did. We weren't sure what to expect, and TripAdvisor doesn't like my videos, but imagine fire dancers dressed in full regalia, a massive tuna, and the freshest 4-course tuna meal you've ever had. They cut it, prep it, and serve it to you all while you're waited on like a princess the whole time. They gave great wine pairings too (Thanks Karen!) We were even moved seats to be closer to the action. So much appreciated. We were completely blown away at the whole event. We talked to Karen about cultural authenticity, and she assured us that the proper preparations are taken in ensuring it's authentic. It only happens twice a month, so if you get the chance, please please please go to the Ronqueo. Our last morning pre-check out, we went to the buffet. Oh my god it's amazing. Everything you could ever want food-wise. They have an assortment of delicious fruit, pastries, bacon, sausage, cereal, coffee, and eggs made to order! They also have Mexican breakfast items, and mimosas on standby. Honestly, this was our favourite breakfast. They also stowed our luggage post check-out at 12 as our shuttle was running late, so we could lounge freely while we waited (thanks again, Oscar!) We had a couple drinks and made beautiful Magic Bracelets with Eddie and Orlando before we took off for the airport, feeling like we had just left a blissful dream. I know this review is long, and again, I'm not usually one to write reviews, but when you have an experience this good, you want to scream it from the rooftop. It's truly like walking through the gates of heaven where your every need is anticipated and taken care of. The highlight is the staff. They were all so welcoming, accommodating, kind, and hardworking. They treat you like family here, and are lovely to chat and connect with. We learned so much on this trip, and genuinely can't wait to come back. 10/10 experience <3
