Couple's stay
The rooms are nicely renovated. Our floor was quiet. Pool is warm and the hot tub was nice. They use to have two and I don't know why they got rid of it. Good city view. There was a conference going on, but it didn't interfere with our stay. We also enjoyed sitting on the patio.

An oasis of hospitality awaits
An oasis of hospitality awaits you in Wichita. The Hyatt Regency knows how to distinguish themselves with excellent customer service. Friendly casual ambience. Perfect for our conference of about 200. Met and exceeded my expectations.

Best combination of value and experience in Wichita
This is a great property, in a really nice location, and has really good amenities. Their food was better than most hotels foods, especially in this part of the country. Room service had a filet with butter garlic I would be happy to buy again.

Wonderful hotel stay!
This was our first visit to Hyatt Regency in Wichita, KS. My husband & I stayed for 2 nights (Sunday & Monday) in a 1 king with a river view room for $344.34. CHECK-IN: Prior to check-in, I emailed to request a quiet room on a high floor. We arrived shortly after 2:30 PM, & check-in took <5 minutes. We were assigned room #1602 • Amenities: Coffee maker, hair dryer, a few hangers, iron, mini fridge & safe. Lots of hooks & lights. • Bath: Plenty of hot water & good pressure • Bed: Fairly comfortable. Medium-firm mattress. I'd recommend upgrading to softer bed linens as they're quite scratchy. • Cleanliness: Very clean. Housecleaning did a refresh on Monday sometime between 9a-3p. • Cooling/heating: Stayed comfortable • Decor: Modern with unique touches • Sound: Fairly quiet; however, the plumbing sounds from other rooms are unusually loud. • TV: Large TV w/ streaming options (using your own log-ins) • View: Amazing view of the Arkansas River, especially at sunset! • WiFi: Free guest access worked well • Other: I liked that key card access is required for all floors, as well as the pool area. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Polite & professional via email and in person. The hotel even surprised us with a tray of treats to celebrate our anniversary! FOOD: We ate breakfast at Harvest Kitchen & Bar. We paid $38 for an omelet, stack of 3 pancakes & 1 soda. All was good minus the soggy breakfast potatoes w/ large onions & peppers and cold/hard butter. LOCATION: Clean, convenient & safe. PARKING: Garage self-parking cost $12; valet cost $16. Plenty of spots available. POOL/HOT TUB: Clean, good temperatures. Would I recommend/stay again? Yes, definitely!

Great Conference Experience
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita during a conference, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and clearly maintained with care — the kind of space that makes it easy to unwind after a full day of meetings. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. It’s not always easy to feel taken care of when you're in a packed conference schedule, but the Hyatt made it feel effortless. By the time we were checking out, I found myself wishing we had one more night — not because the conference wasn’t demanding, but because the hotel made the entire experience feel less like work and more like a retreat. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely be staying again next time I’m in Wichita.
