    Great stay

Great location and amenities. Multiple convenience stores downstairs for basic needs. Beach is across the street, walking distance which was great. Cons: The parking structure was a bit hectic to get in and out of. Parking is limited but I was able to find a spot everyday.

    Stay here!

Excellent service, great meals - breakfast and lunch. We didn’t try the dinner buffet due to cost. And, the pool and hot tub were perfect temperature. Housekeeping was well done. Easy to book, loved the ability to stream our favorites on the television screen.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Parking Experience and Limited Globalist Benefits

During my recent stay, I was disappointed by several aspects of the hotel. The property feels quite old, and the Hyatt Club breakfast area is very small, resulting in long lines every morning. The breakfast selection was also quite limited. The most frustrating part of the stay was the parking situation. Upon arrival, I waited in line for nearly an hour, only to be told that self-parking was not available and that valet parking was mandatory. However, valet parking does not accept phone requests to retrieve your car — you have to request it in person at the bell desk, and then wait another 10 to 20 minutes for the car to arrive. To make things worse, when I received the final bill, I was charged for both valet parking and self-parking. I was staying using a Guest of Honor (GOH) certificate gifted by a friend. Unfortunately, aside from complimentary breakfast, I did not receive any of the usual Globalist benefits I was expecting.

Quintessential Hyatt Regency quality and service

This place has the best of everything you expect in a Hyatt Regency, and it's among the best of the best properties in Waikiki. The rooms are huge and well appointed, offering comforts unavailable at several other supposed 4 and 5 star properties nearby. They have a nice assortment of free beach toys for guests, like beach chairs or GoPro cameras. It has one of the best locations, with some of the best views whether facing the sea or land if you're 20th floor or above.
