Slides not open whole time pool is

Pool slides are only open 12-5pm & the water the 2 big pools go into was FREEZING despite being told they were heated to 80 degrees at check in. Pelican closed early due to staffing when we checked in @ 4pm, the restaurant next door was closed as it was a Monday & the Red Marlin didn’t open until 5pm so we starved for an hour ( Market closes @ 2:30p)

    Perfect stay!

Great hotel, great rooms, great beds, great customer service. And that hot tub hit the spot after each day!! Thank you - we'll be returning next year for the Susan G. Komen 3-day, 60-mile walk! Oh, and the sunset from our room was spectacular!

    Relaxing stay

This was my third time staying here for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk. Great hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean; have a mini fridge and Coffee maker, hairdryer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't use the pool or spa this time, but it's a very nice outdoor area. I will be back next year.

    Good stay in nice hotel.

Staff was very nice and attentive, which is the kind of service you would expect from a nice hotel. The bed needed to be changed as it was out of shape. No room service was a bummer and the hotel fees and food and beverage outlets are pricey (50 bucks a night for self parking for example). Overall nice place and would stay here again. Nice views of the water and good amenities overall. Good place for kids as well.

    Beautiful Hotel, Great location

We had an amazing 4 nights at this hotel. Our kids loved the slides, ping pong table and buying the smores kit from Pelicans. The location is great. We had a car and found it easy to get to the beach or inland towards the Zoo. It was nice being slightly out of San Diego to avoid traffic. The room was very spacious. The four of us didn’t have any problems with space. The balcony offered gorgeous views.
