Grossly underwhelming!
I recently stayed at this hotel for business and was wholeheartedly underwhelmed. The Pros: Great view Modern Gym The Cons: Inflated price tag CONSTRUCTION - you can't even comfortably walk through the lobby/check in area Lack of umbrellas - of course it was raining heavy! No complementary breakfast Rooms were dated My room had hairs much longer than my own everywhere in the bathroom - sink, commode, shower Mold on the shower curtain Blood - not my own on own of the pillow cases after the room was readied Pro tip- I have stayed at the Hyatt House adjacent to this hotel, it is a much more cost effective property. Their rooms are modern and their complementary breakfast spread is exceptional. Not to mention the general friendliness of the front desk staff.

Great Location
Renovations under way, the hotel is updated and clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Great location right next to the Path Station. Beautiful views out over the water. Convenient parking options.

The best!!
Amazing views, beautiful newly renovated rooms and excellent service!! Jelyn in the Vu was stellar always so friendly and attentive. Stephanie at the bar is the best, she is a wealth of knowledge and offers great options. Valet was the best service I've had in the JC/ Manhattan area. Great job and highly recommend!

2 Exchange Place...stay away!
Avoid this location at all cost! The hotel was under mass renovations that we were not aware of. The front desk over charged my credit card by $2000 and then treated me with such disrespect when I ask for clarification on the charges. The valet lost the key to our rental vehicle which left us stranded for hours at checkout. The only saving grace was the Supervisor, Jerrod was on site at checkout and corrected my invoice prior to me leaving the property. Outside of that, it was a HORRIBLE experience.

The view is a once in a lifetime experience
The hotel is under construction but it doesn't really matter, the rooms are great and the view is a once in a lifetime experience. Plus it's super quiet and peaceful. The perfect way to see New York and area. You wont regret your stay here and it's less expensive than NYC.
