Great staff that made the stay very enjoyable
The staff was so kind and accommodating to everyone who walked in. This alone set this hotel apart from other hotels. The hotel itself was beautiful and had a very resort-like feel. The rooms were large and clean. But really, it was the staff that made the experience so enjoyable.

Best hotel staff ever
Very nice resort for familirs or adults-only, clean large 6 pools. Best hotel staff and service ever in any hotel. Love the adults only pool and hot tub. The water slides and the lazy river with free floats are very nice as well. The breakfast buffet is amazing.

Nice family stay
The renovated Villas at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells were absolutely beautiful. It was so awesome having a hot tub in our private back yard. We really enjoyed our stay and all of the amenities. Dinner at Tia Carmen was a highlight. Everything was delicious.

It was an ok experience
The description of the room said two king beds. I can actually say that those were not king beds. They were pretty much the same size as my queen bed at home. The cost of food onsite was outrageous. I probably will not stay at this resort again, but maybe find another one in the area with better amenities.

Could have been better
My overall experience at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells was good, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations for a property of this caliber. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: Pros: > Beautiful Grounds: The outdoorsy environment with well-maintained landscaping provides excellent photo opportunities. > Family-Friendly Activities: The recreational area with foosball, ping-pong, Jenga blocks, and more was a hit, especially with kids. > Nice Pools: The pools were enjoyable, with some offering warmer water. The lazy river added a fun element, though it could use improvement. Cons: > Room A/C Issues: The air conditioning system was inconsistent. At night, the thermostat dropped below the set temperature, making it too cold, while during the day, it struggled to cool the room efficiently. > Poor Maintenance of Hydration Station: The hydration station and ice machine area were neglected, with a full trash bin, spilled water on the floor, and an unpleasant smell throughout our stay. > Service Disappointments: Despite being a Globalist member and requesting a room upgrade and late checkout two months in advance for a special occasion, neither was granted automatically. I had to follow up multiple times to secure a late checkout, which was frustrating. > Underwhelming Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was disappointing. The meats were overly salty, the sausages lacked flavor, and the overall variety was underwhelming. I ended up sticking to a bagel and fried eggs. Overall Impression: While the trip had its enjoyable moments, the service and accommodations fell short of the high standard expected from a Grand Hyatt property. I hope they address these issues to improve the guest experience in the future.
