Perfect weekend get away!
Super fun resort for our whole family! We stayed for a weekend and had lots of fun activities to do along with lots of time to relax in the beautiful pools. We stayed in The Villas and that whole experience was over the top lovely! So much room to relax and play!

Fabulous family vacation spot!!!
Amazing location for a family get-away. My kids, ages 2.5 and 4.5, loved all of the pools/water slides/splash pads. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend and am already planning my next family vacation there!

A great getaway experience.
The property has regained its first class status. The rooms, pools, and restaurants are all top notch. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I was reminded of the great geniality we receive on our first class cruises. Everyone went out of their way to make you feel special.

First time family trip. Meh. Won't go again.
Globalist perspective from short family trip to Grand Hyatt Indian Wells for the first (and I think last) time. Resort facilities are up to date and well maintained. I think they may have done a renovation recently. Globalist upgrade - did not happen. I didn't ask for it, but it wasn't offered. Check in was curt even though the line was non-existent (no one behind me). People smoking in the balcony several rooms away. Smell of Marijuana in the main lobby the first day. Pool - it's nice, just ok. The slide is long but the "fun" isn't there. Comparatively, the shorter slides at the Hyatt's in San Diego and Newport Beach are much better even though they're older. Lazy River is smaller than the video/images suggest. 2-3 times around and then it's just moving water. The surround area of Indian Wells very bland. The area in Palm Springs (near much cheaper Hyatt Palm Springs) is much more lively. Incidentally, the Globalist benefits were better at the cheaper Hyatt Palm Springs - a bit surprised by that. In the end: will not be visiting again because there are better places to go.

Memorable Spring Break Celebration
We spent Spring Break at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary with our daughters, and it was another memorable stay. Even with the resort at full capacity for the holiday week, the staff made us feel personally cared for, from warm communication to thoughtful touches in our room. Our daughters especially loved the pools, lazy river, watermelon eating contest, and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit—we spent time at the water area every day, and it never got old! This was our second stay, and our kids now lovingly call it “Better Palm Springs”—a high compliment in our family. We’re grateful for another wonderful stay and look forward to returning.
