    Great option for a family

I traveled with my dad and two children to spend time with some cousins I haven't seen in years. I chose the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston because it offered great value. I took advantage of my globalist status and upgraded to a suite. We started out on a suite on the 21st floor but were upgraded to an imperial suite on the 30th floor. Nice! Staff treated us like royalty and were very nice to my two children and my dad. The daily breakfast buffet was really good and offered a wide variety of items. It was a great option for my family. I want to recognize the following staff members who went above and beyond for us during our stay: Benji, Mike, Maria, Tony, and Neigha.

Wonderful Rooms (1226) & Wonderful Staff, Senior Staff has work to do on high traffic departures.

The three day stay was just right and I was amazed at the quality of the staff and services. If there is a large group, I recommend that you find out when they are leaving and leave at a different time slot. The hotel’s Senior Management failed badly here in working with the bellman to create a smooth process.

    Great night's sleep

Comfortable room and amenities, great staff - friendly and helpful. Everyone makes you feel welcome and strives to help you have a great stay. Felt like friends/home when dealing with staff. Food options were good and plenty of places to walk to for other choices/needs.

    Pleasant stay

Nice hotel with amenities. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. AC was not cooling well enough but we like a very cool room at night. Son (who likes cool room) said his AC was fine. Be aware that the valet fee is $50 a night. An overall pleasant stay.

Older hotel that needs some work

Our Eyes itched the whole time we were in the hotel. When we checked out, it took over an hour to get our car. If I ever go back, I will self park myself. Th shower head looked like it was made in the 50’s. Very little water would come out. I will say the bed was excellent.
