We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back next year. The staff was so friendly, particularly, Dylan the operations manager, who reached out to us to ensure we had all we needed. The food here is so great, very walkable, and honestly one of the better hotels we have stayed in. Highly recommend for family and as a couple.

Always a great stay
We take an annual trip during Christmas to shop and see the holiday displays on State St. and Michigan Ave. We always stay at the Hyatt because of it's location, quality of the rooms and the outstanding staff. We have never had a bad experience staying there. The easy access to the Pedway is also a plus to stay out of the cold when going to Macy's and other stores on State St. Looking forward to returning in 2025.

Top-notch stay
Top-notch all around. Though in downtown Chicago, hotel is not in the thick of things yet is easy to walk to a variety of downtown offerings — from restaurants to retailers. Hotel is spacious, bright, modern, accessible and staffed with friendly, diverse and knowledgeable people. Hotel has three (!!) restaurants and a market that offers something for (almost) everyone, Rooms are clean, comfortable, techy, and with just the right amount of amenities — a safe, iron, extra bedding, TV, reading lamp, fridge, and more. I enjoyed a quiet cozy top-notch stay.

A Lovely Time at the Hyatt Regency Chicago
My family and I recently attended a holiday party at the Hyatt and decided to make a weekend of it. Everything from the great customer service, the food (I swear someone's grandma from NOLA is in the kitchen) and even the parking attendants were awesome. I highly recommend staying at this property and exploring Downtown Chicago.

An overall good to great experience.
Spent the weekend in Chicago with my 16-year-old son, for sightseeing, good food, and museums. I'm in Chicago frequently and the Hyatt Regency is one of the largest hotels at which I've ever stayed. The lobby is huge, bustling, and noisy, so be prepared for this. Thankfully, guest rooms are in separate towers, and the West Tower where we stayed ended up being very quiet. The renovation is wonderful, and the guest room was spotless. The fitness center was great, and the complementary sparkling water machine was an appreciated "plus"! The location is great. The view of the river and surrounding buildings was great. The amenities for being a Hyatt program member are also a great perk, and the food and beverage credit worked out well. As you can probably tell, I'd stay this is a great hotel. Just be aware it is a large, convention style hotel. I would stay here again!
