Affordable Comfort in the Heart of Downtown Atlanta

This hotel is in a prime location in Downtown Atlanta, close to everything you need, including restaurants, attractions, and public transportation. The room rates were surprisingly affordable for the area, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travel. I’d definitely consider staying here again!

Clean and Friendly Felt Safe Downtown

Booked 5 day stay for conference at the GA Congress Convention Center, the walk was perfect at 15 minutes to the door. Downtown Atlanta felt safe, police presence was noticed at many intersections. Hotel staff was great! Food on site was expensive ($16 for a pretzel and cheese) Valet Parking: the team was as understanding of my car issue and allowed me to retrieve my car with no issues.

Conveniently located fully renovated but classic 1960s feel (brutalist buffs will love!)

I loved the brutalist architecture with open glass elevators and giant atrium but think the room you get here makes the difference. I was in the Radius Tower in a peculiar very small single queen somewhat wedge-shaped room that had a view to other buildings and the roof top of the mall or something. The appointments in the room were updated but the toilet was at a funky angle. The bed was terrible. The mattress was pretty saggy and I didn't sleep well at all. The air conditioning also had a tendency to bang periodically. If it wasn't for the bed, I would probably have liked the room a lot even with it's quirks. I was there for a conference and was in other rooms. The double queen rooms were more like your standard hotel rooms and were much nicer than the tower room. Nice and large with more seating and the beds seemed to be newer (I did not try sleeping there). I would recommend getting a double queen. The gym is at the bottom of the Radius tower and had most of what you need, particularly for a hotel gym, like leg presses. There is direct access into the Peachtree Center mall (where you can get lunch at a 1/3 the cost of the hotel) and the MARTA train station (it is about 25-30 minutes to the airport and $3.50/ticket compared to $50-$60 for a cab/Uber). Conference spaces, rooms, and ballrooms were nice. Catered and buffet food was decent and I could drink the coffee, unlike at other conferences. It was a pleasant conference space although I was confused as to why the escalators got narrower as you went down each level. Easy to walk to area attractions and restaurants. There were plenty of nice restaurants in the immediate area, but you have to take a cab/train somewhere if you want something a bit less pricey. We didn't try Polaris - the revolving restaurant, but I would have liked to at least gone up. A Tito's and soda a the lobby bar was $14.55. The hotel market had pre-made sandwiches, snacks, chips, coffee, beer, wine, etc. Alcoholic drinks were mostly $10/can and I got some hummus and chips that were $5. There is a CVS in the mall.

Helpful staff but terrible night’s sleep

I was at this hotel for a conference. The location is great and staff are helpful and friendly, and the conference facilities are great. My biggest gripe was that the room was small and dimly lit. I was also on the second floor in the International Tower and it was LOUD. You can hear all the noise from the street, it was almost as if the window wasn’t there. This resulted in two terrible nights of sleep. If you have to stay, I’d recommend at least a higher floor.

    Great staff and property!

Staff are wonderful at this property - kind and helpful. The location is convenient and the morning breakfast buffet amazing. As globalists we were upgraded to an Executive Suite with a large living area and two balconies. There are restaurants nearby, a CVS pharmacy and liquor store. Downtown Atlanta itself did not offer enough to do and did not feel as safe or as comfortable as we would have hoped. Regardless this property made our stay enjoyable!
