    Excellent Stay

Breakfast is amazing - better than your standard complimentary breakfast. Staff is kind and helpful. Overall, clean and convenient hotel. This was a great fit for our school trip with several students. Hyatt Place was a great place for us to come "home" after our busy days. Thank you!

Quick to take slow to release

The overall experience was okay- first the room had a smell to it and the breakfast was burnt (French Toast is meant to be soft) My main concern is they hold for accidentals which I get but it should not take more than a day for the Hyatt to release the funds back to your card. You were quick to take it. It’s been a week and Hyatt still has not released my funds. I will never stay at another Hyatt ever again in life this is unacceptable. Just warning you don’t expect your hold to be refunded in a timely manner

    Great getaway

The hotel was ideally located. My family was able to walk to everything that we wanted to see even with the temperatures being what they were. The hotels breakfast was very good and the gym had enough to get a good workout. Rooms were very clean and staff was excellent.

    Great Hotel

Great Hotel. Breakfast was on the spot providing hot items like scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage and oatmeal. Also provided a colder option with yogurt and fruit. There is some difficulty checking in. The main lobby is on the 3rd floor. Rooms were nice, but notice there is a fire station connected and you may hear the fire trucks leaving.

    Disappointed

The Hyatt National Mall is well situated near the Capitol, the Wharf and Air and Space Museum. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for my birthday weekend in October. I am a World of Hyatt member and expect to be treated as such. Our room was not made up at all in the 4 days there. Not such a big deal but when I was checking out, I mentioned it to Lily, the lady at the front desk. She apologized profusely and said that they would give me 25000 points on my WOH account. She promised that it would be there by the end of the day. It never showed up. I’ve called twice and got a run around so I finally gave up. So if you plan on staying here, I recommend telling them at check in that your room must be made up daily or they will probably just ignore it.
