    Great Spring Break

The Hyatt was great for our Spring Break trip with our grandson. Highly recommend. Great room, and view of river. Good breakfast and staff was excellent. Would book again and recommend this Hyatt, good location on River and secure parking. Walking distance to many venues.

Clean rooms & super friendly staff

The hotel was nice and clean and very conveniently close to the river walk. There’s two restaurants right across the street and out of the way enough to where you can park there and walk for everything that you want to do. We didn’t use uber once while we were here because everything is super close. They have free breakfast and a bar and all the goods. No hot tub, they have guest laundry but it’s a $2 fee per how many times you use the washer and dryer. There’s also no vending machines on any of the floors and a very small and overpriced candy shelf and other snacks. Although the staff was extremely nice. We saw Julio the most and he was at the front desk and super friendly and helpful and got us everything we needed for our stay.

    Great choice

The hotel location was great. It was an easy walk to get to the main attractions on the riverwalk. The hotel had an excellent breakfast that was included in the room. I had two teenagers that finally went down for breakfast about 30 minutes before it closed and they were still restocking with fresh, hot food.

    Great Hotel but annoying music

Stayed here 2-25-25 and the hotel employees were extremely pleasant and helpful. The two at the front counter the morning of our departure were awesome. Our room was fabulous, in fact we thought it was brand new. It was also very spacious, comfortable and very, very clean. Also, very reasonably priced for San Antonio. In fact, we were so happy that we have just booked another stay. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of offerings. ***There was one thing that was VERY, VERY ANOYING***; the bluesy, whiney music was so annoying that it gave a negative vibe from the time we entered the foyer. Not good! Why is our society so set on blaring music. With so many genres of music, why don’t you just have something soft going in the background . . . . if you think you just have to have music. I for one think it is not necessary. THUS THE 4 Stars instead of 5. Location was great, just a few minutes’ walk and great proximity to lots of places & restaurants and near the Riverwalk.

watch out: not how water when showring

The water for the shower at this hotel is not hot at all, and the water flow is so so small it's like a trickle, barely enough to wash properly. I definitely won't stay here again. This experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel front desk staff didn't greet us warmly, and upon check out, they didn't ask whether our stay is comfortable or any issue.
