Fantastic experience and would highly refer/recommend!
We just left our week long stay at the Hyatt. I would highly recommend staying at this location. Starting with the valet, Sasha, and Marcela at the front desk. Both very pleasant, welcoming, and helpful with all our requests. Oh, you're also created with a glass of champagne upon arrival! Rather than supplying you with plastic water bottles, as they did in the past, you're supplied with two refillable water bottles. They have water machines on each level but the main lobby machine offers both regular water and many flavors of sparkling water. You can even add caffeine. The hotel rooms are immaculate. Showers very nice, refrigerator and coffee service in the room. You don't pay for the coffee like some hotels. Again, the rooms are spotless. We had breakfast every morning and Kim was our server. Every dish we ordered on the menu was delicious and kim was most friendly. Again, highly recommend. oh...if you bring a car, you can park for $35. Very, very easy to Uber and don't need a car. My only negative is the work out room is super tiny. They have one treadmill and one other machine, free weights, no foam roller.

Pleasantly surprised - great stay!
Pros: Location, updated rooms, roof top pool, restaurant downstairs Cons: no onsite parking, doesn't feel overly safe to arrive late at night The moment we walked in I was impressed. The staff greeted us immediately and were able to get us a room right away (I was just hoping they would hold our bags for us until check-in). The lobby is very cute and well appointed. The room was nicely updated and I was thrilled the windows actually open. The bed was comfy and it felt very clean. The lobby had a strange urine odor...but it seemed like they were working on it. The rooftop bar has a nice view and I like the convenient location to shopping and restaurants. I prefer this hotel to the Regency down the street.

Cold weekend in Key West
It was the coldest weekend of the year in Key West but we still had a wonderful time. The pool was heated but not enough for me. The was a really nice hot tub and the pool bar bartenders had some fabulous recommendations of warmer things to do. The small boat advisory kept us from planned activities. We will return.

Great location, pricey
Very nice hotel, great amenities, location was fantastic, nice rooms. Biggest complaint was the rooms/overall cost to stay at the hotel for a basic room was extremely expensive compared to other properties of similar quality in the area.

Not Exactly 4 Star Resort Quality
The room was large, but the window shades all had large stains on them and looked less than attractive. The balcony had cigarette butts on it. The bathroom shower’s grout had mold and where the shower glass met the shower floor, there was a lot of black mold. There was also dust all over the walls, light shades, and tables. The resort pool was very small. It wasn’t exactly a resort, in my opinion, it was more of a hotel. Although it is rated as a 4-star property, I didn’t feel like it deserved that rating. I stayed at several resorts all over the Keys on this vacation and this was the worst one we stayed at all week. The location is excellent so it has that going for it. The property needs to work on its housekeeping and room cleanliness. Once that problem is solved, it wouldn’t be as bad. On a good note, they provide you with 2 metal bottles in the room and a Bevi water machine in the lobby so you can refill your bottles with flavored sparkling or non-sparkling water. It was great considering it was much more environmentally friendly.
