Cigarette smoke and sewage
If you love the smell of cigarette smoke and sewage you will love this place. Came for a business event. The smell of smoke permeates everything. Room was reasonably clean but water from the sink smells like sewage. Gross overall so I would avoid in the future

AVOID
From start to finish a pathetic experience. Starting with misleading room upgrade fess sold as a single charge but billed per night. Secondly the room was filthy with visible dust on literally every surface and around the edges of carpets, also a highly questionable red substance splattered on the bathroom wall. Finally the AC was completely ineffective and required an engineer fix (waited several hours) I was promised the cleanliness issues would also be addressed but even after detailed discussion with the front desk and a subsequent visits from housekeeping staff to resolve the issue, the issues remained exactly the same….. I raised these concerns again on checkout and was met with a diabolical attitude implying that the previous discussions about cleanliness hadn’t happened. This entire experience was a perfect example of how not to manage a hotel booking and subsequent customer interactions. Overall one word PATHETIC.

Looking forward to staying there again.
A great place to stay on the Las Vegas Strip. All staff members were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel rooms comfortable and clean. The beds were great! Liked playing in the casino too and had many fun slots to pick from. The bartenders were great!

Midweek at the Shoe
Overall, you get what you pay for. Little disappointed with food prices on resort. Room shows some wear and tear, but everything worked. If you're expecting the Bellagio, or the Wynn, this isn't it but if you're capable of navigating the place on your own it's just fine for center Strip.

Dont bother reserving a better view room as you most likely wont get it or be compensated.
I have stayed at 3 Caesars properties the last three trips to vegas and every time I did not get the room typed I paid for. Never have I been upgraded to a better room and never was I offered a credit or partial refund for the cost difference. I know stuff happens but I am not sure why a food credit, partial price difference refunds or upgrades are not part of standards at Horseshoe and Caesars. The website listed plenty of room types available night of so not sure you can say you were busy either. I'm not sure where I will stay next trip but this will impact my decision.
