Apr 16, 2025Complete failure of a dumpster fire
Could not have FAILED WORSE. Our King suite with a fold out and roll-away during college tours SIMPLY DID NOT EXIST while the hotel is under construction. They had no additional rooms to give us AND the entire place is a construction site. You cannot enter the hotel through any door other than a side entrance, which wasn’t locked at all… We’re still sitting in the lobby trying desperately to find somewhere to sleep tonight.

Worst Hilton Property I have visited
We booked the Homewood Suites in Victor, NY and checked out after 1 night. The property is undergoing renovation to the common areas but they should have started with the rooms. The first room we were issued had hair and ants on the bathroom floor, thick black dust on the ceiling fan and multiple carpet stains. We contacted the front desk and they moved us to a different room. No ants this time but the carpets were stained and gross. We would not walk barefoot on them or sit on the couch without covering it. I am not picky, but the rooms were not inviting at all, it was difficult to imagine that housekeeping is cleaning thoroughly given all of the obvious issues. I have stayed in hotels for business most of my career but these rooms were some of the worst I have seen and not worthy of the Hilton brand. We only stayed one night because we arrived late and it was too late to find another property but we could not wait to leave. I will say Tyler at the front desk was very apologetic and did his best to help us but he could only work with what he had. I would recommend avoiding this property until the rooms are updated to Hilton standards.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here and the very first thing I must say is how pleasant the staff is! This is a family atmosphere place especially kid/pet friendly. The pool and hotub are awesome and clean! The rooms and suites are cozy, stocked and comfortable. A mini stovetop, fridge, dishwasher, ample counter space, plenty of extra blankets, pillows. The bathrooms are stocked with plenty of soap, shampoo, body lotion etc.... breakfast is amazing! Cozy fireplace in the lobby to welcome guests in the winter days. Always fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water available in the lobby....how nice! They have a nice gym. I requested a first floor room and they went out of their way to shuffle and accommodate my family. They send you a text after settling in to ask if we need anything and how it's going! You can't get better guests service then this hotel! I just can't say enough. This is a perfect family hotel to make family memories. This owner knows how to run a great hotel! Thank you again to every single staff member who plays a part of each guest experience every time I've stayed here! Currently they're remodeling and I can't wait to stay and see the new changes. Very comfortable and spacious on the third floor but motel is also under construction I have been here several times and have always felt very relaxed and comfortable The Weds night snack is also nice Salad soup beer wine crackers cheese and more

Classy. Roomy. Friendly. Quality. Quiet.
Staff welcomed me with respect and personal care. The Wednesday evening reception was so yummy with fresh bread and soup and a quality salad. Breakfast was one of the absolute best I've had in for a US-based chain hotel. So much care went into the fresh bread, hot choices, and options. Worth staying here for the food alone. The service was amazing. I needed to replace my tissues, texted the front desk and within 3 minutes they came to my room. The place is getting renovated - personally I like the classic style furniture. I saw no problems with the old rooms. They were very clean, roomy, and quiet. The fitness room could be updated. I can only imagine how much better everything will be once renovated. I will stay here again even in an old room. I loved the hotel and the staff were amazing. And the view from my room with the sun and the snow was incredible.
