Nice facility with easy access to all things Concord, NC
Nice welcome by registrar Cammie, open and pleasant lobby / breakfast area. Our room was spacious and ample parking and street access. Very good location with easy travel to PNC Pavillion, Sea Life Aquarium, auto racing venues and Mustang Owners Museum. Good stay at Home2.

Disappointed diamond member
I wouldn’t stay again in the current condition. Room was less than ideal, not very well kept. Bathroom door sticks to floor, felt dirty and old for a newer brand of hotel. Right on down to a dirty TV remote with no battery cover. No bedding for sofa bed in room. Pool was not heated, door to pool area would not open with our keys, no towels in pool area front desk noticed when we were let in and brought some but still. Door to pool area made the most awful noise when opening. Breakfast was fine except from the moment we walked up with our children you could see the annoyance in the face of the breakfast attendant. Her disdain for our children being present was palpable! Not once on property was I greeted with a smile, at check in was not thanked for being a diamond member. Checked in on app, chose room, selected mobile key. Arrived at 6pm had to wait for a large party to check in. Did not get a top floor room (the room I selected), had to wait, process payment, and get a room nowhere near what I wanted. What’s the point of mobile check in if I have to do the whole process anyway. Checked out early, got a look of confusion a should shrug and a “ok”. Not even a question as to why. I DO NOT recommend this property for business and definitely not for families traveling. Disappointed diamond member!

Quick overnight trip
The room was clean and spacious. I was only in for one night and arrived late, left early. The breakfast had a wide variety of items. I used digital key and it worked as expected. The hotel is very close to UNCC, stores and restaurants. Overall, I would stay again.

Awful ruined by vehicle break ins
Don’t use big parking lot no cameras my truck along with 4 others were broken into and did not know anything till the next morning only left with a card with a case number and broken windows. Front desk knew about the break ins and did not let anyone know till we found the windows broken the next morning

Try to avoid if possible, friendly staff, however
This hotel is a very typical Hilton property for families. The rooms are not well cared for and I understand this as they are long-term rooms for families. A wall light was not in place on our wall instead it was removed from the room. There were several stains in the carpeting. Lampshades were torn, and there was a major housekeeping issue found in the bathroom that I will not disclose in this review as it was resolved amicably, by me and the hotel. Please keep in mind. I personally do not feel the rooms are cleaned, or even glanced at prior to new arrivals. I think that with this being a long-term hotel, it gets pretty beat up by families, etc. and I understand that that’s hard to keep up on especially when there’s children involved. There’s really no way to avoid this, but it does go far to mention. I also was a little upset, with some of the customer service and the way I was treated as a Goldmember, but that may not affect several others here. I I wanted to extend my stay by one night and the price was well over the price of the highly optioned Hilton property next-door - needless to say I packed my bags and moved to the Hilton, I recommend anyone that’s going to be in the area. That’s not with children to give the Hilton across the street a hard look. It is far superior to this property. will say that the representative I checked in with and I apologize. I cannot spell her name, but I believe it was Jeligh (I know that it spelt completely wrong, but hopefully she knows who she is!) went above and beyond for me. The pool lock wasn’t working during my stay so if you wanted to use the pool, you had to come to the lobby and have the front desk open the pool for you, rather inconvenient. Breakfast was pretty substandard being far better at a typical Hampton Inn overall not impressed and will probably not return to this or any home 2 suite. Please thoroughly check your room when you arrive.
