We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk! It started though with SQ helping us navigate a busy time checking in, even moving our vehicle while we were checking in and helping us load luggage carts. Our view of the Riverwalk was wonderful and each staff person was so nice. We met Snowe, with whom we had talked before booking. She has to be the reason this hotel does so well. Her knowledge about the area, sweet energy, and attention to each person is impressive. Also about the hotel— if your a/c or anything is wrong, you cannot hang up the phone before they’re knocking at your door to fix it. Beds are soooo comfortable and shower pressure is fabulous. Thanks for a great stay in San Antonio!!

Great customer service and awesome place for family and business visit.
I have stayed here for a week on my business trip. Gavin has been a great help since day 1. He has showed great professionalism and always welcomed us with a great smile. He provided answers to all the inquiries and also great tip about the local places. I will definitely recommend the place and will be coming back in my future visits.

Great, understanding folks at the front desk - Snow and Gavin, specifically :) They checked me in early with no fuss. The hotel is nice and clean with all the modern amenities. It also has a nice terrace with access to the River Walk. The downtown location is very convenient!

Fun Visit
Is nice property and great location. First person we met was JQ from valet team. Welcoming and helpful with advice on the area. We had room with view of river which was nice. Close to a lot of great places for food and drinks. Also great location to hang out.

The valet, JQ, was incredible!! Thus earning earning the 3-star rating. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He chatted with us (there were other clients for him to help at the time) and recommended local spots to eat. He was very helpful. This review would have been 1-star without JQ. The room was okay, it was an average room, with one small roach in the bathroom. The management wasn't all that great - I had a tax free form I gave them when I checked in, which they accepted readily enough. However, when I went to checkout the taxes were on my bill and they explained why. But they should have explained that as I was checking in, not as I was checking out.
