Beautiful View, No Housekeeping
The resort’s view was amazing! Our room was huge with super comfy beds, iron & ironing board, a safe, microwave, coffee maker & a full sized refrigerator! The worst was we never got housekeeping. Once a woman came & got our trash & towels, leaving fresh ones. We never got our room cleaned! No beds made, floors cleaned, nothing! I had to ask for bath tissue & face tissue, plus to have our trash taken out! The office desk clerks were super helpful. We ate at the onsite restaurant, “The View” our first night there. Hubby ordered their crab cake, I ordered flatbread pizza with pepperoni. The food was just okay. They weren’t busy at all. Our server was alright, he just needed to check on us more. We waited forever after we told him that we were ready to pay. We used the hot tub on our second night there, but there were no towels. I had to get towels from the fitness room. The beach access was great!

She said yes!
Finally made it back after a year break. Last trip was a little iffy, with the partying military presence. This trip was absolutely flawless for us. We always get the breakfast included and it's wonderful. All the staff at the restaurant were just so enjoyable. We purchased the beach chairs and just vegged out for a week. The pool was still useable in November and even braved the lazy river (slightly colderI. All in all we enjoyed our quiet relaxing stay, still had a huge military group, but they were very quiet and we loved interacting with the nice young men and women and appreciate their service. I have no complaints and look forward to my 10th visit next year. I proposed to my girl and left happy, full, tan and engaged.

I wont stay anywhere else. 2014 was nearly perfect!
I just returned from this year's trip and we had another incredible stay. All of the hotel staff were extremely friendly. We especially enjoyed chatting with our favorite bartender, Rose. She remember us from last year and even remembered were we sat last year. How is that even possible? My only small complaint is this - I'm a platinum elite IHG member and I always get good upgrades at this hotel. While we did get a higher floor, our room faced the opposite direction of the sunset so we did not get to enjoy sunsets from the balcony this year. Not a big issue but next year I will remember to ask for a different location during check-in.

Great experience
We were there for the Labor Day holiday, me, my wife and two daughters, and that was the greatest stay we had for the last 4 years. Everything was great from the arrival to check out. Front desk Carlos, James and Cole were nice and kind everytime we needed assistance; F&B Manager Ricardo really makes a difference, je cares, he’s helpful, kind, polite, always smiling and present everywhere we looked, he was there ready to help; breakfast is great, well served, delicious food, Richard at the omelet station provided great customer service, always kind and smiling, greeting everyone. Rose at the bar also is awesome, even whenever the bar was packed she’s always ready to help and serve. Amenities are great for all ages with that white and nice beach sand. Dining at the restaurant was the o my negative highlight, we dine on Saturday me, my wife and two daughters, service was poor, took way too long and nobody ever came to the table to tell anything about, it seemed server was running away from having to talk to guests, food is good but incredibly expensive, specially for the customer service we had. Besides that, We definitely decided that this hotel will be our next summer vacation destination, however, not dining at the hotel restaurant again.

I do not recommend
In the past when we stayed at this hotel, we were allowed to have my grandson and his wife come by and have breakfast with us at the restaurant before we were due to leave. Management would register them at the front desk and give them each a bracelet to wear while on the property. It was a much better place to stay at that time. During this visit, we were told that no one was allowed on the property unless they were paying guests, not even for a very short period. It was embarrassing but it was fine. I respect their rules, but it's not worth the $300 per night I paid when there are much better, cheaper, and friendlier hotels than this one in the area. I definitely won't be staying there again.
