Great hotel for spring training viewing
We just spent 5 days staying at the Holiday Inn Express. Purpose of the trip was watching spring training. Hotel staff was outstanding and location was perfect. Do not miss the morning breakfast. Phillys and Yankees stadium about 15 minutes from the hotel.

Amazing stay with outstanding service.
We stayed in Tampa for 5 nights. Was supposed to be 6 but our first flight was delayed. We were greeted by Holly and Joe who treated us like family. The room was clean and big. They have dove products in the bathroom. The pool area was so nice with a nice view of the bridge. We walked the Courtney Causeway which went through a beach. We were walking steps to Bahama Breeze restaurant - amazing food. We used the fitness centre which was clean and had four different options and a water cooler. Free continental Breakfast was amazing. Back to service - EVERY single person in every area of work was amazing but I really want to say they Holly and Joe are assets to your organization and truly represent and boost the Holiday Inn brand.

Annual trip to Tampa the first weekend in February.
I was at the Tampa International Airport and called for a shuttle that never came. I needed up paying a taxi to take me to the Hotel. The Hotel room was very dirty. They were extremely under staffed. The bathroom tub did not drain because it had so much hair stuck in it. My sister and I were extremely unhappy.

Places to stay before/after a Tampa cruise
Nice hotel near places where you can walk around to find food. This hotel provides a free shuttle from/to the Tampa airport and to the port to get on your cruise. Staff is friendly. The pool had some leaves in it and could have used a daily cleaning otherwise it was ok.

Good pre-cruise option
We stayed at this location prior to a cruise on 10/6-7. Upon arrival at the Tampa airport, we called the front desk from baggage claim to let them know we had arrived early & asked if we could go ahead & grab the airport shuttle to the hotel. The employee pleasantly stated we could & explained that he had to call the shuttle service. Veterans limousine service is the company they use & they were not on site at the airport or hotel and to expect a 10-20 wait (very reasonable). He also explained where we would go to meet the shuttle. Only 1 other person was checking in at our arrival so ck-in for us was quick. We were able to check-in early, about 1p. This was a very clean hotel. It was obvious this hotel had been recently updated/ renovated. Our bathroom was very clean, fresh smelling & no signs of mold. Bed was comfy & clean too. Everyone we spoke to at the front desk was friendly & professional. I am sorry I don't remember their names. We had a 1st floor suite right off the lobby area. We had a peaceful night's rest & wasn't bothered by lobby or parking lot noise. We at at Bahama Breeze restaurant next door for an easy dinner. Had it been a sunny afternoon, we would have enjoyed the pool & it's view of the bay. Breakfast was good & consistent with the better Holiday Inn Express locations we have stayed at. There is a little market down the street where we were able to purchase sodas/ snacks for our cruise. It was walkable for us. We would definitely stay here again before cruise.
